[su_right_ad]DNAinfo is reporting threats against New York City police officers on New Year’s Eve.

Sources say there [were] several gang members on social media calling for New Year’s Eve to be “Kill a Pig Night” so that it will become “The New Year’s Eve Massacre 2014.”

The threats primarily come in tweets baring a host of vicious anti-NYPD hash tags including #@deadcopseveryday, #onlydeadcops, #wingsonpigs and #laughatyourdeaths, according to law enforcement sources.

One tweet reads: “Dear Police, Don’t think this cant happen again” accompanied by a photo of armed Blank Panthers from the 1960s and 1970s, sources say.

Approximately 15 arrests have been made as result of the threats, NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said at a Times Square press conference.[su_csky_ad]

The cops are just being trolled.
I’ve lost most of my respect for the NYPD since they did a work slowdown and crime has dropped. This action only shows how many unnecessary arrests and needless incidents of public harassment by the cops have been going on for years.

Maybe they are hoping this “threat” will protect them from being judged if they decide to have violent endings to “criminal” situations again.

These kind of threats would be minimal had NYC cops (and cops in numerous other cities) not acted like prima donna asses on numerous occasions. I don’t condone violence of any type but I’m not surprised at any of this nor was I when the two cops were assassinated a week ago…
