[su_right_ad]Now that former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell has been yanked out of political circulation with his two-year prison sentence, Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) can officially ascend to the post of the Most Corrupt Governor In America. Seriously, mark your calendars because Sunday’s playoff game in Dallas heralded the end of the Christie presidential campaign — that is if it ever existed in the first place.

And of course it wasn’t just the super awkward owner’s box celebration during which Christie, evidently dressed in Fat Albert cosplay, lovingly embraced Jerry Jones and some other guy after the Cowboys clinched the wildcard victory. The freeze frame looks like it’s from the end of a wacky 1980s prime time sitcom, just before the credits roll. Have we actually seen Christie hug another human being, like, ever? Not that I can recall, which made his effusive PDA look even more awkward since he only ever gets that close to other humans in order to hector them at the boardwalk. Oh, and during that brief moment in which Jones denied Christie’s attempt at a high-five, it make Christie look like a wormy, tag-along sidekick who’s desperately seeking approval from the cool kids — and not getting it.

Not a very presidential moment, to say the least.

And as Jon Stewart pointed out Monday night, Christie is the governor of a state featuring Eagles superfans in the south, and Giants superfans in the north. Both groups are huge Cowboys haters. In fact, I would suggest that Jersey is the nation capital of Cowboys haters, twice as many as in Washington, DC. So, why exactly does Christie love the Cowboys so much?

This puzzling question brings us to the corruption part of the story. Realistically, the weird hugging is all just a sideshow compared with what’s emerged in the subsequent two days.

Apparently, Christie attended the game as a gift from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones… CONTINUE READING [su_csky_ad]

So Christie is a Cowboys fan. Boo hoo. At least he doesn’t cancel other peoples’ health insurance, as did the current occupant of the white house.

    • Carla Akins January 7th, 2015 at 8:47 am

The ACA did not cancel any insurance, it’s not an insurance provider -it’s a law preventing the insurance industry from robbing you blind. Your private insurance company did cancelled your policy.

It’s amazing. Even in this age of information.

          as always… LOL

My health insurance was cancelled in order to comply with the orders of 0bamacare. Blaming it on my insurance carrier is like blaming a German soldier for the invasion of Poland in 1939.

sometimes folks with a dumb grudge and no reason should learn to be very silent – less embarrassing.

“At least he doesn’t cancel other peoples’ health insurance, as did the current occupant of the white house”.

Please be so kind as to list a person(s) whose insurance was cancelled by the President.

      I’ll wait.

So did the President call personally and cancel your insurance, or did he send you a letter?
You should scan and post it. The signature alone is a collectors item

This letter will prove to be as elusive as Baracks birth certificate…../s

Any chance you live in Mo.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – A health insurance company is agreeing to pay Missouri more than $161,000 for falsely claiming a state law required customers’ policies be replaced with Affordable Care Act benefits.

The Missouri Department of Insurance on Tuesday announced Humana Insurance Co. agreed to pay a $161,800 to the Missouri State School Fund for the misstatements.

you mean an insurance company cancelled your policy

    • GreatLakeSailor January 7th, 2015 at 11:17 am

Are you watching old reruns of Fox & Friends? That meme is a little dusty by now.

Just curious: Had your insurance company ever before “modified” your plan and adjusted (increased) the price? Ever? Is that not the same thing, just different words?

Are you upset that you can not buy a new car without seat-belts (airbags, collision standards, padded dash…)? Lemmie guess, your were happy with your old car and you never got in an accident….

appears to be a common troll….

Does it hurt to be stupid? I bet you spend a fortune on pain medications….

This hug, followed by the revelation of the Port Authority contracts Jerry got, is going to haunt Mr. Christie.
    (s) Giants and Eagles fans just LOVE the Cowboys (/s).

  4. Avory † Blonde January 7th, 2015 at 8:51 am

Alan I think your biggest gripe with Christie is that he is a successful Republican governor in a blue state. A lot of people in blue states are catching on to the fact that Democrat’s policies are stupid and lead to dismal results. Notice the results of governor elections in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Illinois last November.

    • edmeyer_able January 7th, 2015 at 8:54 am

Sure if you measure down grading your states credit rating and one of the worst in job creation, he is successful.

      • rg9rts January 7th, 2015 at 11:41 am

Don’t forget the use of the schultz defense

    • mea_mark January 7th, 2015 at 9:20 am

Comparing democratic policies to republican policies, like what is going on in Kansas, I would say you couldn’t be more wrong. Republican policies are destroying the economy where they have been allowed to go into effect.

    • Suzanne McFly January 7th, 2015 at 10:01 am

Do you have a dictionary? How about you just google the word fact, because you obviously have this word confused with assumption and do you know what assumptions do?………..the fact that Democrat’s policies are stupid and lead to dismal results………………Back up that statement with true facts and then come back to speak to the adults.

    • fahvel January 7th, 2015 at 10:45 am

it’s amusing how uninformed and possibly stupid people, try to write their opinions in hi end high school essay form to convince someone that what they’ve written has value.

    • rg9rts January 7th, 2015 at 11:40 am

Your grasp of New Jersey politics is only matched by your understanding of string theory.

    • Obewon January 7th, 2015 at 7:23 pm

NJ was 47th in jobs creation. Until T rump’s 6th casino bankruptcy! “Christie is that he is a successful Republican governor in a blue state”-Your STD’s are so low, you must buy 50 cent crack too!

  5. rg9rts January 7th, 2015 at 11:39 am

You neglected the fact that Christie had the Port Authority(GWB lane closures) throw a contract to one of Jones’ companies too.

  6. GreatLakeSailor January 7th, 2015 at 2:27 pm

I want a recount!! Scott Walker should at least get a (dis)honorable mention!!! I’m calling fraud on Christie’s part…Oh wait…

  7. fancypants January 7th, 2015 at 6:56 pm

I wonder where Christie will be when the cowboys tank out in the playoffs

  8. crc3 January 7th, 2015 at 10:17 pm

Chris Christie and Jerry Jones have at least one thing in common. They’re both pompous asses….
