Guru Orders 400 Followers To Be Castrated So They Can Be ‘Closer To God’
Authorities in India are investigating.

The country’s top crime fighting agency registered a case against Gurmeet Ram Rahim – known as the ‘guru in bling’ for his penchant for garish clothes and jewellery – over the operations at his ashram.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said Rahim is being investigated for criminal intimidation and causing grievous bodily hurt after an alleged 400 castrations were carried out.
The latest case was filed after one of his devotees, Hansraj Chauhan, lodged a complaint in court alleging he was manipulated into having the ‘painful’ operation at the ashram….
‘They were told that only those who get castrated will be able to meet god,’ Mr Chauhan’s lawyer, Navkiran Singh, told AFP. ‘We will put all the facts of the case to the court and seek compensation for the victims.’

Well that is one way to cut down on the competition for a mate. Or he could do like the polygamist Mormons in Texas and Utah do, drive all the preteen boys a few towns away and dump them off on the side of the road like a sack of garbage.
It is also a way to get an army up, impoverished young males with nothing to live for and denied any chance of ever passing on their genes make for great suicide bombers and violent gangs of roving thugs.
That is actually the reason that polygamy was outlawed, only rich men could get 30 or 60 wives and poor ones could not get any so that made them violent and easy to recruit to overthrow governments. The fact that it was abusive to women and little girls and that it gave men a reason to kill baby boys or discard older boys was not even considered, just the fact that it made easy pickings for militants wanting to overthrow the government.
