You see, Hitler went to Paris after his troops invaded them, which is exactly the opposite of President Obama not going to a peace march.  Besides, Texas Congressman Randy Weber’s incomprehensible Tweet and thought process, he can’t even spell Hitler’s first name right.

    Idiot.

    • Aun Awn January 13th, 2015 at 2:48 pm

Now I know exactly what pissed me off about yesterday’s headline about the US not attending the Paris rally: It didn’t stay in the headlines for almost 24 hours because it was a valid or interesting news story (Europe is on a different continent, that’s why only European leaders attended the rally). The reason it stayed in the headlines for almost 24 hours is because so many people in this country are desperate to see the president look bad whether he deserves it or not.

I believe we are at a critical point of the number of these people and there is nothing worse than a critical point of a large group of critically ignorant people…

  2. whatthe46 January 13th, 2015 at 2:24 pm

i’m sure the french appreciated hitler’s visit asswipe.

    • fahvel January 14th, 2015 at 1:10 pm

yes, he was received with accolades – must remember that some French accepted his shitty doctrine. We were/are not all perfect.

  3. Aun Awn January 13th, 2015 at 2:34 pm

How can such an unbelievably garbage comment can come from a US congressman?

This amount of pathetic is hard for me to fathom.

The grasping at anything to make the president look bad has hit a new low.

  4. Suzanne McFly January 13th, 2015 at 2:37 pm

Just another empty suit owned by some uber rich slob. Too bad they don’t educate their monkeys before they put them into office, the comments they make really makes the constituents like total tools.

  5. Red Eye Robot January 13th, 2015 at 2:40 pm

Better? I didn’t see that in the tweet. I did see “(for all the wrong reasons) “

    • Chinese Democracy January 13th, 2015 at 3:25 pm

“Even Adolph Hitler thought it more important than Obama to get to Paris. (For all the wrong reasons.) Obama couldn’t do it for right reasons”

I didnt see the word BETTER either… but anyone with a second grade education or above can understand the implication.

What I saw was a tabaggerish texan trying to infer that hitler was somehow a better statesman than Obama because he went to Paris . .. even if it where for the wrong reasons.

Obama won twice. .. t baggers just dont like it. I get it .

      • fahvel January 14th, 2015 at 1:08 pm

when you ask for a second grade education you are eliminating all tbaggers in one fell swoop.

    • arc99 January 13th, 2015 at 3:41 pm

Can any of you right wingers set aside your pathological hatred long enough to recognize that a United States Congressman comparing the President of the United States to the most heinous mass murderer in the history of mankind, is at best entirely inappropriate?

Your need to critique the headline instead of offering a word of criticism about the Congressman speaks volumes about how un American you phony patriots are.

      • William January 13th, 2015 at 3:50 pm

It’s the tired old right wing, bagger, media shtick. Compare everything you like to Jesus, and everything you hate to Hitler. Glenn Beck made a career out of it. Apparently there are sufficient numbers of brain dead lunatics to form a consortium.

      • William January 13th, 2015 at 3:59 pm

Consider this. The right, which professes to be SO concerned with Americas image, and their tales of “apology tours”.
How do you think it looks when other countries see our duly elected representatives comparing our own President with the pure evil that was Hitler? People like Weber are a national disgrace at best.

    • William January 13th, 2015 at 3:47 pm

I was just sitting here and wondering, who would chime in and attempt to spin/defend some half wit baggers comparison of a genocidal maniac to the President of the United states.

      • arc99 January 13th, 2015 at 3:48 pm

I had my own personal pool going that it would be either Redeye or Wayout. I bet a dollar on each. Looks like I win my own dollar.

        • William January 13th, 2015 at 3:55 pm

Well there is that little math problem at the login page, so with Wayout it’s hit or miss.

    • rg9rts January 14th, 2015 at 7:07 am

      moron

  6. Pilotshark January 13th, 2015 at 2:48 pm

So are you the one they appointed to take the heat off of Scalise, As it seems you have the same mental power of a ant.

Yep you all rwnj`s make it simple to use this analogy.
If your brains was fuel, you would not have enough fuel, to power an piss ants motorcycle to do a complete figure eight inside of a cheerio hole.

    • whatthe46 January 13th, 2015 at 4:31 pm

never heard that, that was hilarious.

  7. Bunya January 13th, 2015 at 3:06 pm

Republican Congressman Randy Weber knows EXACTLY why President Obama didn’t go to Paris. He’s long suspected that Hitler Obama is planning to construct his “death panels” (predicted by Sarah Palin eight years ago) in Paris and is trying to keep a low profile!
    .
I did, however, think the death panels would be ready by now. Maybe he got detained taking away everybody’s guns ‘n ammo.

  8. OldLefty January 13th, 2015 at 3:25 pm

Funny how the international media are making fun at those who went to the march.

    • rg9rts January 14th, 2015 at 7:06 am

      Bebe

      • OldLefty January 14th, 2015 at 7:11 am

Many of them have journalists jailed.

        • rg9rts January 14th, 2015 at 7:23 am

They all hate the press…fortunately in the US there is very little press…Beyond sound bite experts…

          • fahvel January 14th, 2015 at 1:05 pm

not fortunately – it’s sad how uninformed the us population is.

          • rg9rts January 14th, 2015 at 3:25 pm

Ed Morrow, and Cronkite were a different breed..

  9. Republicans_are_Evil January 13th, 2015 at 3:34 pm

It should be expected that the right wingers think Hitler is better than Obama. The GOP has gone all in for fascism.

  10. edmeyer_able January 13th, 2015 at 3:42 pm

Where was the republicans man crush, why didn’t he show up?

  11. raypc800 January 13th, 2015 at 4:07 pm

Well it is nice to see that TP/GOPer Randy Weber mentions Adolf Hitler. After all he is in the party that backs policies that are very similar to the ones Hitler pushed. So it is very easy to understand why Weber would use a past political figure that his party imitates.

  12. Guy Lauten January 13th, 2015 at 5:28 pm

it’s called Sedition and is illegal and contrary to the terms of the oath of office to which he swore. He should be charged, arrested, booked, and tried.

  13. Tim Coolio January 13th, 2015 at 5:29 pm

Republicans mad that Obama didn’t go? well I bet if he did go they would now be complaining it was another vacation and a waste of money!

    • Dwendt44 January 13th, 2015 at 6:26 pm

      PHOTO OP!!

    • Jack E Raynbeau January 13th, 2015 at 7:52 pm

They’ve been ragging on France since they snubbed us by not invading Iraq. Sunday they changed their mind. Singular form of “mind” is intentional.

      • Tim Coolio January 13th, 2015 at 8:42 pm

        France snubbed W!

        • fahvel January 14th, 2015 at 1:01 pm

see, just what I said. The French are sensitive and understand truth and irony with more acumen than the general american public.

  14. William January 13th, 2015 at 6:01 pm

    Hey Weber

    • Dwendt44 January 13th, 2015 at 6:26 pm

He’d be lucky to be in Gitmo if Hitler was around. More likely he’d be long dead.

  15. Jake January 13th, 2015 at 6:56 pm

i suppose the republicans think we have all forgotten this:

“Over the years, France has enjoyed all of the benefits of an alliance with the United States, and all our nation has received in return is a trade deficit and a cry for help when their appeasement efforts fail. This action today is a small but symbolic effort to show the strong displeasure of many on Capitol Hill with the actions of our so-called ally, France.”

Ohio House Republican Robert Ney Chairman of the House Administration Committee

“France and Germany are losing credibility by the day, and they are losing, I think, status in the world. They are walking a fine line that is very dangerous.”

Our old friend Tom Delay then Republican House Majority Leader

    How about Dennis Hastert

House Speaker Dennis Hastert has told associates he would like to target bottled French mineral water and wine, the paper said.
Hastert has instructed Republican colleagues to determine whether Congress should pass laws that would new impose health standards on bottles of Evian and other French waters, the paper said.
According to the Beverage Marketing Corporation, a U.S. research firm France is the leading exporter of water to the United States and sold 65 million gallons (147 million liters) in 2001.
The Post said the speaker also is exploring whether the United States should require “bright orange warning labels” on French wines that are clarified with bovine blood.
“People should know how the French make their wine, ” the Post quoted Hastert spokesman John Feehery as saying.

And if you can be bothered with more of this crap – check out this Fox article.

    • fahvel January 14th, 2015 at 1:00 pm

oh please do it – our economy might suffer a tad but without our wine and cheese and foie gras and breads and style and integrity and our no guns law, the French will survive as a unique and enviable culture.

  16. Jack E Raynbeau January 13th, 2015 at 7:48 pm

Remember freedom fries? The right hates France. It’s just that they hate Obama more.

    • Tim Coolio January 13th, 2015 at 8:37 pm

They hate liberals similar to the way 1930s Germany hated the jewish people.

  17. Tim Coolio January 13th, 2015 at 8:40 pm

Hey neocons, for me it’s french fries NOT freedom fries! (and I even use french dressing on the salad)

    • fahvel January 14th, 2015 at 12:57 pm

but but, thay aren’t French, they are Belgian.

  18. edmeyer_able January 13th, 2015 at 8:44 pm

Just wanted to say the picture of Obama is in pretty poor taste as well Allen.

  19. Foundryman January 14th, 2015 at 12:12 am

other americans I would think – unless all those illegally registered voters did it to get even with the usa – wow, what a plan: elect psychopathic morons to office and watch the govt deteriorate – better terrorism than guns and violence.

    • rg9rts January 14th, 2015 at 3:28 pm

The gopee beat that one to death…ironic that the only cheaters in the last POTUS cycle were gopees…Florida, Virgina , Ohio.
