[su_right_ad]Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal was confronted by a CNN reporter who pressed him to defend previous comments that there are “no-go zones” for non-Muslims in Britain.

In his remarks, Jindal said, “It is startling to think that any country would allow, even unofficially, for a so called ‘no-go zone.’ The idea that a free country would allow for specific areas of its country to operate in an autonomous way that is not free and is in direct opposition to its laws is hard to fathom.”

But later, he was confronted by CNN’s Max Foster to back up these claims. “Look, I’ve heard from folks here that there are neighborhoods where women don’t feel comfortable going in without veils,” Jindal said. “That’s wrong. We all know that there are neighborhoods where police are less likely to go into.”

“But you need to have proper, sort of, facts to back that up,” Foster replied, saying he, as British man, has never heard of “no-go zones” for non-Muslims.

Jindal said that’s why he added the word “so-called” before “no-go zones” in his speech before turning the accusations around on liberals. “I think that the radical Left absolutely wants to pretend like this problem is not here. Pretending it’s not here won’t make it go away,” he said.

As Foster continued to press him for evidence and accused him of “exaggerating” the situation, Jindal replied, “I think your viewers know absolutely there are places where the police are less likely to go. They absolutely know there are neighborhoods where they wouldn’t feel comfortable.”

“I know the left wants to make this into an attack on religion and that’s not what this is,” he said again. “What we are saying it’s absolutely an issue for the UK, absolutely is an issue for America and other European and Western nations.”

Now Bobby Jingle says it is not a religious,(Muslim) issue…(imaginary no go zones).
    What a smiley little liar.

    And I have to ask..
When was the last time he washed his hair?

  2. whatthe46 January 19th, 2015 at 6:14 pm

when you continue to open your mouth and prove yourself a fool, just blame the other guy. these people never take any responsibility for anything they say or do wrong.

  3. raypc800 January 19th, 2015 at 6:18 pm

I would very much enjoy seeing his supportive evidence, since he never provided any like usual. This is filed under how do you know Bobby is talking to here himself talk.

  4. Steph January 19th, 2015 at 6:57 pm

He saw it on Fox News! It has to be true! And anyone who doesn’t think so is a liberal, because they don’t watch Fox News. Fox News may have retracted it, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Can’t we apply consumer truth laws to that network? Please?

Consumer truth laws? I’d honestly prefer waterboarding.

    Right wing arrogance personified.

Can you imagine their reaction if a foreign politician came to this country making false claims about Open Carry supporters creating no-go zones for the police.

jindal lied and it is the Dems fault.

I lived in London for 6 years. There are no ‘no go zones.’

    • bpollen January 19th, 2015 at 11:29 pm

And I once moved to a town that had a Newcomer Funeral Home. But that was more of a “oh-no-zones” type thing.

  8. tiredoftea January 19th, 2015 at 7:25 pm

A CNN reporter pushing back, a little, on Jindal. Amazing!

  9. burqa January 19th, 2015 at 7:35 pm

Once in a moment of passion, I made a certain suggestion to my girlfriend and she said “no,” – – – actually it was more like “NO, YOU FREAK!” – – – whereupon she informed me I was speaking of a ‘no-go zone.’

Kenneth the Page runs his mouth again, which will only help to assure that Washington, DC will be a “Jindal-free zone”.

  11. KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker January 19th, 2015 at 8:17 pm

This buffoon repeatedly blamed the left…or radical left for challenging his own stupidity.
The reporter should have just said it’s not the left inasmuch as it’s just the simple truth.
As Stephen Colbert always said: “Reality has a Liberal bias”.

  12. Obewon January 19th, 2015 at 8:20 pm

Parroting FNC always gets you flushed down the shitter! Faux News apologized several times for claiming there are “totally Muslim” no-go zones in Europe, comments that aired on the station following deadly attacks in France. http://news.yahoo.com/fox-news-apologizes-totally-muslim-remarks-230628573.html

King Bobby didn’t get the memo.

  13. uzza January 19th, 2015 at 9:02 pm

    “There is a no-go zone”
“But you need to have proper, sort of, facts to back that up,”
“I know absolutely there is. We have absolute faith that there is.
I know the left wants to make this into an attack my on religion…”

Every day the Republicans sound more like a cult.

While searching for information that might confirm or refute what Jindal has said, I stumbled across this video clip. I don’t know much about life in England, but it would appear that in some areas there are real issues.

    • greenfloyd January 19th, 2015 at 10:29 pm

Wow! That’s an amzaing video, puts you right down there on the streets of East London. Jindal’s remarks gain some credence, although in this case, it’s not so much a “no-go” area, as it is a battle field between extremists ideologies in which both the local police and public are caught right in the middle.

  15. GreatLakeSailor January 19th, 2015 at 10:48 pm

“Look, I’ve heard from folks here that there are neighborhoods right here in Louisiana where
women a gay couple don’t doesn’t feel comfortable going in without veils pretending they are not a couple…or gay,” Jindal said.

“…The idea that a free country would allow for specific areas of its
country to operate in an autonomous way that is not free and is in
direct opposition to its laws is hard to fathom.”

    Boy Howdy!

    • Booya Bible January 19th, 2015 at 11:01 pm

      Epic! Nice job.

    • greenfloyd January 20th, 2015 at 12:02 am

Right! Another extreme case of cognitive dissonance by a high ranking public official. However, as flimsy his explanation as it relates to East London, the Vice video below does document escalating confrontations between two groups of extremists. Although neither group is willing to admit a radical position, it’s the paradox of the ones who call themselves “Muslim” that really amuses me; essentially telling the community, “Give us freedom of expression, so we can take it away.”

Of course it’s up to the community to stand-up to these thugs and denounce their anti-democratic agendas. Until then it appears East London will remain tense and probably wise to avoid.

            It’s a start.

    • Robyn Ryan January 20th, 2015 at 1:46 pm

stick with the ‘woman.’ you can pretend you aren’t gay.

      • GreatLakeSailor January 20th, 2015 at 2:14 pm

And a woman can wear a veil. Try again.

        • Robyn Ryan January 31st, 2015 at 3:52 pm

I served active duty for 20 years. The brass wanted women to wear hijab over their uniforms. Because women aren’t ‘real’ soldiers. The gay people were all in hiding. I couldn’t walk into a mission and pretend to be male.
I did cover my arms and knees in the Vatican, because it was a religious structure. Public spaces, the Abrahamic religions can piss up a rope..

  16. Booya Bible January 19th, 2015 at 11:00 pm

I guess no-go zones sounds a lot better than not-comfortable zones.

  17. allison1050 January 19th, 2015 at 11:01 pm

Like Ben Carson Jindal has proven that he doesn’t mind in the least to allow himself to be completely used by the right, as long as the payoff is something to look forward to. They no more give a good goddamn about him or what he claims his beliefs are than the man on the moon, sort of like whatshisname Cain.

    • mrgard January 20th, 2015 at 7:25 pm

Im not chicken to say anything Allison if you are from another country and cant abide by the laws in my country then go home to yours. Our laws are to be obeyed.
