Jesse Ventura. Taya Kyle had planned to give interviews this week to promote the movie and her Feb. 8…

They might come over here and attack us again with their rpg’s and IED’s…what the hell is wrong with these people

    • tiredoftea January 20th, 2015 at 12:57 pm

They definitely have serious cases of Fox ignoritis.

      • tracey marie January 20th, 2015 at 1:00 pm

I have to laugh at the ignorance

    • allison1050 January 20th, 2015 at 1:46 pm

Simply put Tracey, most of their favorite politicians have never, ever seen a uniform on their own person except maybe a cub scout uniform if that but as usual want everyone’s else children to go to war and to hell with what happens to them when they get back. Plus they LOVE spreading fear in the uninformed since that works for them also.

      • tracey marie January 20th, 2015 at 1:48 pm

So true allison, this almost worship of the military has gotten out of hand. I appreciate that they protect us, but I do not appreciate the rwnj starting wars of choice

        • allison1050 January 20th, 2015 at 1:54 pm

          Totally agree Tracey.

          • tracey marie January 20th, 2015 at 1:56 pm

            only 3 more weeks, correct?

          • allison1050 January 20th, 2015 at 2:30 pm

After yesterday I’m now down to 2 more and then after a brief wait period more tests and if those are fine then the real wait begins. That’s why the celebration with my sister and friend Sam and his wife. Sam has cancer also. I told Sam 2 weeks ago that this will give him time to lose a few pounds so that he has some wiggle room.

          • tracey marie January 20th, 2015 at 2:33 pm

YEAH!!!! But sad for Sam, what kind of cancer does he have

          • allison1050 January 20th, 2015 at 4:15 pm

He’s not ready to say specifically but said it’s in some of the lymph glands.

Discussions like this are our newest third rail of politics.

I think the left learned its lesson in the wake of Vietnam where we were wrong in denigrating those who served while protesting the war. It is indeed a fine line between questioning policy and not respecting those who put their lives on the line.

I will just ask a question, especially to those who will leap to condemn Michael Moore.

Under what circumstances would you consider it heroism if a foreign military attempting to help us, was conducting combat operations on American soil and using snipers to kill American citizens?

    • Hirightnow January 20th, 2015 at 10:41 am

Are they targeting Rw mullahs like Limbaugh or Hannity?
      If so, I’m conflicted

    • bluejayray January 20th, 2015 at 10:42 am

I was very much against the Vietnam war, but I never denigrated the troops who had to fight it. Most of them were draftees and had no choice in the matter–unless they wanted to flee the country or go to jail.
I have no problem with the troops–unless they actually enjoy killing and maiming other people. Glorifying killing is always wrong.

The geopigs love the killing of innocent people. The are PRO LIFE about zygotes only, they could care less about what happens after the child is born. It is all about controlling women and forcing them to give birth.

  5. fahvel January 20th, 2015 at 11:55 am

disturbed veteran kills mass murderer – interesting way to see this. Snipers are good shots and kill – three that I know were refused re-upping after two tours – because they liked it.

    • Bunya January 20th, 2015 at 1:28 pm

Of course they’re good shots. They have scopes on their rifles and can shoot an unsuspecting victim from a safe distance. I know there are no rules in warfare, but should this be allowed?

  6. Robert M. Snyder January 20th, 2015 at 12:18 pm

The CIA, under President Obama’s direction, carries out numerous drone strikes. The people pulling the trigger are located far away in safe locations, but they are basically performing the same job as a sniper, with the full knowledge and consent of the Chief Executive. Michael Moore has said that snipers are cowards. Does he also think that President Obama is a coward?

    • whatthe46 January 21st, 2015 at 2:23 am

STFU seriously. damn you dumb. thousands were murdered because of bush & chenney because of their lies, “full knowledge.”

      • Robert M. Snyder January 21st, 2015 at 8:41 am

It is my understanding that President Obama *increased* the use of drones.

        • Dwendt44 January 21st, 2015 at 1:35 pm

But he isn’t the one pulling the trigger or choosing the targets.

          • Robert M. Snyder January 21st, 2015 at 7:37 pm

Look, I’m not saying that drones are wrong. I am uncomfortable with our use of them, but then again I am uncomfortable with war in general.

But if you think that not choosing the targets or pulling the trigger absolves Obama of responsibility, then you probably think it’s okay from someone to hire a hit man to “take someone out”. As long as you’re not choosing the targets or pulling the trigger, then you have no responsibility, right?

I am continually amazed at the lengths liberals will go to in order to defend this president when he does things that liberals have traditionally opposed. If McCain had won the 2008 election, and McCain had increased the use of drones as much as Obama has done, would you be defending McCain on the basis that he was not choosing the targets or pulling the trigger? Of course not.

With an average rate of 22 suicides a day something is seriously wrong somewhere. Never having been in combat I can’t speak to what is haunting the Vets, is it something personal they committed or was it they they saw and kept quiet about and know that it was wrong. IDK

  8. Detected_as_spam January 20th, 2015 at 2:10 pm

I hope Eastwood can help her out with her lawsuit. That MORON Jesse Ventura never saw action and he’s a fake tv wrestler

    • edmeyer_able January 20th, 2015 at 2:21 pm

I think that’s been settled already.

    • arc99 January 20th, 2015 at 6:29 pm

My suspicion is the Navy UDT does not take MORONS and it was not up to Mr. Ventura as to whether his unit saw action.

He is not a fake tv wrestler, he is a real tv wrestler. And if you doubt the physical skill necessary to engage in that profession, I suggest you lie prone on a workout mat in a gymnasium and let a 300lb man do a somersault from 10 feet in the air and land on top of you. then come back and tell us how “fake” it all is.

there is no faking the laws of gravity.

      • Detected_as_spam January 21st, 2015 at 12:42 pm

What kind of MORON sues a widow of a serviceman of the caliber of Chris Kyle? Ventura is a punk

        • Dwendt44 January 21st, 2015 at 1:34 pm

The lawsuit was filed well before kyle was murdered and Ventura won that suit.

      • Dwendt44 January 21st, 2015 at 1:28 pm

Right you are Arc. UDT is dangerous work, war time or not. And wrestling may be ‘rigged’, ‘choreographed’ and more entertainment than sport, but is does require a great deal of physical talent and effort.
I would never call Ventura a moron, I may disagree with him about the conspiracy B.S. But he did a decent job as governor and some of his political comments are squarely on the money.

  9. Apocalypse January 20th, 2015 at 2:15 pm

On Fox Chris Kyle’s father said,”He wanted to go over there and do what he loved most.”

Here’s a link from Mother Jones to anyone you know that maybe thinking of joining.

When I worked at Syr airport I use to see a lot of recruits coming thru on their way to basic.

I often wondered what horrors they would see and how many would come back in one piece…..Often it was difficult to keep my composure as I looked at the people sending them off.

Letter from an Army Ranger: Here’s why you should think twice about joining the military http://bit.ly/14xxTy5

John is doing a show right now here’s a quote supposedly from Kyle.

John Fugelsang ‏@JohnFugelsang 22m22 minutes ago

“I hate the damn savages. I couldn’t give a flying fuck about the Iraqis.” – Chris Kyle. Your thoughts? 877 974-7487

  12. StoneyCurtisll January 20th, 2015 at 4:10 pm

I think the bigger story is being ignored..
Chris Kyle,(American Sniper) and a friend Chad Littlefield were murdered by a fellow Iraqi war veteran, 25-year-old U.S. Marine Corps veteran Eddie Ray Routh, whom the two deceased took to a gun range in an attempt to ‘help him with his PTSD”…(seems not to have been a good idea)..

      That is disgusting…
      But not at all surprising..:)

      • edmeyer_able January 20th, 2015 at 4:55 pm

I wont bother seeing this, but I’m not at all surprised there are those lowlifes that become “inspired” by this or any other lies they see on the networks.
Trying to find a news story on Fox or Cnn is becoming impossible.

        • StoneyCurtisll January 20th, 2015 at 5:03 pm

          Right on brother~!

  14. KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker January 20th, 2015 at 8:30 pm

The movie is nothing more than flag waving war propaganda which Goebbels would be proud of.
But hey, it’s a big money maker that sucks humongus amounts of cash from the pockets of hateful and violent ignorant American bigots.

  15. viva_democracy January 20th, 2015 at 11:02 pm

Republican Newt Gingrich fired back in his own tweet, “Michael Moore should spend a few weeks with ISIS and Boko Haram. Then he might appreciate @American Sniper. I am proud of our defenders.”
First off, Newt and most of America don’t give a rats azz about Boko Haram.
Second, Chris Kyle was pretty much dead by the time ISIS came around.
Chris Kyle wasn’t fighting for our freedoms as I keep hearing. What freedoms did we not have because of Iraq? What did Chris Kyle “defend” us from?
This movie is propaganda to continue to justify the war machine. All those bootlickers calling Chris Kyle a “hero” cuz he shot for our freedoms are fools/tools.

    • burqa January 21st, 2015 at 5:05 am

Chris Kyle defended Americans from killers trying to kill them. He shot them before they shot Americans. He would see an enemy setting up on the roof of a building getting ready to shoot Americans and Kyle would shoot the enemy.
It was self defense, pure and simple.
We can debate whether we should have been there at all and probably agree – I think we should not have invaded. But when we go to war, we defend ourselves and that is what Kyle did.

Kyle was a distinguished American soldier who served our nation honorably and deserves praise for his service.

  16. burqa January 21st, 2015 at 5:45 am

    Moore is an ungrateful fool.
His uncle and the troops serving with him were in all probability protected by American snipers.
A sniper shooting an enemy at long range is no different than an artilleryman shooting an enemy at long range or a bomber dropping bombs.
    This is war.
There is no rule that says you have to fight hand-to-hand.
I have known several snipers and am proud of them and their service.
One is an old family friend who was a Marine sniper in Vietnam. I will be seeing him when I go home to watch the Super Bowl with family.
    Great guy.
    Great American.
