[su_right_ad]Former “Meet the Press” host David Gregory showed an illegal gun to NRA Executive Director Wayne LaPierre during an episode of the show. A Freedom of Information Act request reveals that police believed there was enough evidence to charge Gregory.

Despite the request, D.C. attorney general Irvin Nathan declined to prosecute in the case. He said that his office “determined to exercise its prosecutorial discretion to decline to bring criminal charges against Mr. Gregory, who has no criminal record, or any other NBC employee based on the events associated” with the broadcast.

Legalinsurrection.com’s William A. Jacobson wrote: “The short version is that the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department warned NBC News that it could not possess an actual high-capacity magazine, but NBC News went ahead and did it anyway. The MPD recommended a warrant for Gregory’s arrest, but that request was nixed by the D.C. Attorney General Irvin Nathan because — my paraphrase — Gregory was just too nice a guy and had no other criminal intent.”

Tell that to the police…they would probably shoot you between the eyes if you got out of your car with that in your hand…

They could have crashed into the studio in an armored personnel carrier. Then six of them could have wrestled Gregory to the ground, put him in a choke hold and kicked the stuffing out of him. They should have done it. There are too many news anchors showing 30-round magazines to Wayne LaPierre on the Sunday Talk Shows and something needs to done about it. Next thing you know, Matt Lauer will invite Wayne LaPierre to the TODAY Show and show him a 30-round magazine. Then Charlie Rose will do the same thing on CBS This Morning. Where will this madness stop?

It will stop when liberals like you stop passing stupid laws and start respecting the Constitution.

Isn’t that what liberals say about conservatives??

Yes, but the liberals are wrong when they say that and are in reality the worst offenders.

Sorry my little joke went over your head. I wasn’t serious. To arrest Gregory for showing a 30-round magazine on Meet the Press would be ridiculous.

Now that would have really raised ratings ….

And they should have as he violated the law. What’s the point in having the law if you are not going to enforce it against everyone who violates it? This is a clear violation of the 14th Amendment and that prosecutor should now be held to account.

You really don’t know what the purpose of laws are do you?
