These are the decisions that will change the minds of those on the right. Tax dollars will be funding rogue cops and we all know how the right is against anyone spending tax money, unless it is for their own farm subsidy.

my question: was the cop convicted??? Is the cop in prison?

The officer (Haste) was indicted by a GJ for manslaughter. However the case was dismissed on the basis that the prosecutor instructed the GJ to ignore evidence that Haste, when dispatched, was instructed the suspect was armed. A second grand declined to re-indict.

He was, however, found guilty of being a white cop.
