[su_right_ad]The pilot was burned alive by ISIS, as supposedly seen in a video they released.

At the end, the pilot, First Lt. Moaz al-Kasasbeh, stands inside of a cage and is set on fire by an unidentified militant who uses a torch to ignite flammable liquid that has drenched the pilot’s clothing.

The Islamic State’s previous video executions of Western hostages were all beheadings. The latest video, which was sent to reporters on Tuesday morning by members of the Islamic State and later reported by the SITE Intelligence Group, an organization that monitors jihadist activity on the Internet, was the group’s first known execution by fire.

“They have raised the bar in terms of brutality,” said David L. Phillips, a former senior adviser to the State Department on peace-building efforts in Iraq, who is now a director at Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights.

There no longer can be any doubt that ISIS is the most terrible evil of our time. The world must join together to eliminate these worshippers of death once and for all.

    This is sickening…
As far as I am concerned, there are not enough bombs to drop on theses psychopathic bastards.
Cutting peoples heads of with a knife is sick enough, pushing suspected gays off of tall building is horrible but this goes beyond the pale of humanity.

My guess is that all options on how to deal with this are on the table. I don’t think Assad or the people of Syria are going to be very happy. There is not going to be a safe place on this planet for these creatures.

      • John Tarter February 3rd, 2015 at 10:49 pm

All options now on the table? Our president can’t even utter the words “Islamic Terrorists”. No, Obama will not gather the world behind him and fight this evil. It will be more of the same, you know, him leading from behind.

Ok, lets see some action – not just words.

And what does this president propose to do to “banish” this threat?

      • Bunya February 4th, 2015 at 2:37 pm

I have an idea. Instead of playing armchair president, why don’t you gather up all your “born again” Christian friends and start your own crusade? You can travel to the continents of Africa and Asia, weed out ISIS wherever they are, and slaughter them (in Jesus’ name, of course). We’ll stay here and cheer you on.

You know, you could have saved some ink and simply said, “I’ve got nuthin”.

          Cause really, you got nuthin…..

What’s interesting is you do acknowledge that there will need to be something done, and propose that I do it, but that you are unable to make a commitment…..

I think Obama calls that, “leading from behind”

Hey, maybe if we don’t do anything the problem will solve itself.

          • Bunya February 4th, 2015 at 4:36 pm

You’re right, I don’t have anything, but then again I’m not bitching that the president isn’t doing enough to “banish” this threat. If you think you can do a better job, start your own crusade. Nobody will stop you.
            .
And hey, if you think the problem can be solved, I’m sure the president would appreciate your input as to how you propose he do this.

Why are you asking me? Why don’t you watch the news and wait to see what he says.
