A Witchita Texas man was arrested by Sheriff’s deputies after paying his property tax bill in one dollar bills. The kick was that he folded the bills so tightly that it took the clerk at least 6 minutes to unfold each one. The property tax bill was for 600.00 dollars, so at the rate of 6…

    Taxes in Texas……. if they haven’t, then they should specify how payment should be made.

      It was the folding that upset the prim clerk at the tax office. Of course, who would think that someone would fold hundreds of one dollar bills and use them to pay a bill?
      Texas lawmakers are busy trying to outlaw abortion and restrict voters.

    Can anybody explain how to fold a dollar bill so that it takes six minutes to unfold? Something smells fishy about this story.

      There are some origami folds that take a while to both fold and unfold. That should give you an idea of how bat sh!t crazy this dude is.
      There’s a fish one so it might be fishy…:)

    Whats so hard about paying you local county taxes?..
    For most people it is just a few hundred dollars…(maybe more, maybe less)
    Don’t make a fuss, pay the tax and go about your business…
    It isn’t worth being arrested and jailed over..
