[su_right_ad]According to the official, John Boehner led Benjamin Netanyahu to believe that his invitation to address Congress was fully supported by Democrats.

“It appears that the speaker of Congress made a move, in which we trusted, but which it ultimately became clear was a one sided move and not a move by both sides,” Deputy Israeli Foreign Minister Tzachi Hanegbi told 102 FM Tel Aviv Radio on Friday.

The interviewer asked if that meant Netanyahu had been “misled” into believing Boehner’s invitation was bipartisan, a characterization Hanegbi did not contest.

Asked whether the prime minister should cancel or postpone the speech, Hanegbi said: “What would the outcome be then? The outcome would be that we forsake an arena in which there is a going to be a very dramatic decision (on Iran).”

Good job Orange-boy. Lying to two countries in an effort to quench your hate. Conspiring with a foreign country to undermine this nations foreign policy is treason. Time for a trial.

Some time in the future, maybe Boehner and Christie will have a chance to get together and swap jail tales.

at the very least, he should be sued by the US State Department and the nations of Israel, Iran, China and Antarctica.

Gee seems that both party’s involved is trying to save face. But it didn’t take but a few minutes to know this was partisan and not bi-partisan.
But both wanted to play it up, until if blew up in their faces.

That’s how I read it too Pilotshark.
I truly hope Democrats are smart enough to boycott this treasonous political stunt en masse.

Hey Boner ….welcome to the world of Israeli politics…..LOL

  4. Guy Lauten February 6th, 2015 at 3:06 pm

Right. So now they want me to believe that Bibi – one of the most savvy Israeli politicians ever – is so naive as to think that the Republican Speaker of the House speaks for the Democratic minority. And I’m supposed to believe that Derner – a long-time DC flack if ever there was one – thought so, too. Yeah. What’s next, kosher pigs a flying?

  5. viva_democracy February 6th, 2015 at 7:07 pm

Oh, so this is how it’s going to be now? This is how Bibi will get out of the speech w/o making himself look bad (although I don’t believe that). And he’s gonna throw orange popsicle under the bus to boot. What a clown show.

    • Bunya February 6th, 2015 at 9:43 pm

I was thinking the exact same thing. Not only was it important to have Bibi come out of this fiasco smelling like a rose, but throwing the Boehner under the bus was just an added bonus.

Another boner for Boehner, maybe he can take that to the golf course.

  8. majii February 6th, 2015 at 8:54 pm

Boehner now has a very good view of the underside of that bus that Netanyahu, Dermer, and other Israeli politicians have throw him under, as well he should. He thought he’d get away with plotting against the foreign policy interests of his own country and president unscathed. Sorry, Boehner, but I think you’ll be spending more time in your favorite D.C. bars trying to recover from this international diplomatic faux pas.
