Anomaly has the story at FreakOutNation about NRA board member Charles Cotton, He’s upset about a Florida bill that would prevent corporal punishment in schools.

Once again Rep. Alma Allen (D, F) has filed a bill to prohibit the use of corporal punishment in public primary and secondary schools. I’m sure some folks are going to wonder why this bill would be tracked since it doesn’t deal directly with guns or self-defense. Rather than type the explanation again this session, I’ve copied it below. I’m sick of this woman and her “don’t touch my kid regardless what he/she did or will do again” attitude. Perhaps a good paddling in school may keep me from having to put a bullet in him later.

Hey! For that matter, perhaps a bullet in Mr. Cotton’s head would keep him from “having to” put a bullet in ANYBODY’s head. Works for me.

It’s shocking how many people think the solution to so many problems is more child abuse.

Too many of the abused become abusers.

Too lazy to look it up, but if I had to guess, I’d say he probably had a brood too numerous to fit in a minivan.

I saw that he was married, but no mention was made of spawn…

A good paddling for him might have beat some sense into him

So those are the only two options?

So, in a perfect NRA world, school teachers and officials are empowered to beat up kids at their discretion; but all kids also come to school armed with assault rifles, except for limp-wristed liberal kids, who only carry handguns. Plus, all the parents are armed too. Yep, looks like a perfect picture of a safe and civilized society. Moar violence! For freedumb!
