Page Six is reporting that the marriage is part of a plot to put his corpse on display and make money.[su_center_ad]

Manson’s fiancée, 27-year-old Afton Elaine Burton, known as Star, sought to wed the convicted mastermind of the Sharon Tate murder and eight other slayings so that she could gain possession of his corpse, according to journalist Daniel Simone.

Burton and a pal, Craig Hammond, planned to lay out Manson’s remains in a glass crypt, Simone says. The pair figured their bizarre California version of Lenin’s Tomb would draw huge crowds and make big money.

She seems kind of sick. They have a lot in common it seems.

If the idea of marrying Charles Manson occurs to you, that sorta settles that question, doesn’t it?

I have been engaged a couple times and knew it wouldn’t last so I gave back the ring and took off. I have lived vicariously through my friends and family members and I seen how hard marriage is. I just never felt it was for me, I am surrounded by love from my family and friends and I live as I want and I have dogs in my bed with no complaints.
You have benefitted by your relationships because you have your sons, you have done a great job of looking at how you benefitted and not focus on what you lost.

I’m behind the times. I’m still with my first potential ex-wife. Been with her for 35 years, married for almost 33… as you can see, I have a problem with procrastination.

So, it would be a bad marriage then?

    • Suzanne McFly February 8th, 2015 at 9:48 am

No way, she marries a guy who she doesn’t have to have sex with, he then dies and she makes some money off of showing his dead body. That is a match made in heaven.

    I’ll say it again.

If you pitched that idea to network execs, they’d throw you out. Unless you pitched it as a “reality” show, of course.

If only she had put so much effort into getting a college degree.

I guess it’s no surprise that she looks like she woulda fit right in at the Bugliosi circus of freaks (otherwise known as the Tate-LaBianca trials.)

I wouldn’t say she’s crazy. I’d consider her more of an innovative entrepreneur. How many others have come up with the idea of marrying a psychotic, wait for him to kick the bucket, and then put his corpse on display in an effort to make a profit?

I thought men were usually the ones who covet someone’s body.
