That’s right. Now, let’s rush to find out what the weather is like at the equator.

Robertson claimed that the Boston snowstorm helps prove that climate change is a myth created by scientists who have been manipulating data, even though climate change has actually been linked to growing storm intensity.

“The president goes in an interview with Vox, whatever that is, and said our real challenge is not ISIS, it’s not terrorists, it is global warming,” Robertson said. “Go to Boston, Mr. President.”

Uncle Nutty does a weather report

  2. Larry Schmitt February 11th, 2015 at 12:31 pm

Another idiot who doesn’t know the difference between weather and climate.

  3. Dwendt44 February 11th, 2015 at 12:41 pm

You won’t hear the anti climate change crowd spewing much of their nonsense during the Ides of August.

“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” Dr David Viner, senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia. March 2000

“you can argue that may be our projection of [an ice-free Arctic by 2013] is already too conservative.” Wieslaw Maslowsk 2007

“Amid predictions that by 2010 the world will need to cope with as many as 50 million people escaping the effects of creeping environmental deterioration, UNEP (United Nations Environment Program report)

    • Larry Schmitt February 11th, 2015 at 1:28 pm

That East Anglia report was already discredited. The scientists admitted they deliberately overstated the study findings, because they didn’t think anyone would believe them. Other studies have confirmed the majority view that the globe is heating up.

Of course you omit the findings of the most current research which predicted more severe winter storms as a result of climate change.

With Climate Change, Expect More Monster Winter Storms

His next post will be on average temperatures, saying they haven’t changed. That’s a big point with those two guys.

    • burqa February 11th, 2015 at 1:37 pm

Yes, anyone listening to your show hears you cite those quotes.
Thye also hear you state falsely that the expression “climate change” is of recent use, when, in fact, it has been used in this context since at least the early 1990s.
So if you are going to say that climate change is not real because these 3 sources were wrong, then we must likewise discard everything you guys say because you are wrong about the usage of “Climate change.”

And there was no Flood in the Bible, either, because it was dry inside Noah’s Ark.

    • Larry Schmitt February 11th, 2015 at 1:29 pm

There was a flood in the bible, but not on the earth, because that was a fairy tale.

    • William February 11th, 2015 at 2:36 pm

and every species of animal lived within walking distance of the ark.

      • Larry Schmitt February 11th, 2015 at 3:18 pm

And none of the ocean fish were affected by all that fresh water diluting the sea water. And he must have been towing a second boat with all the plants that would have drowned.

        • William February 12th, 2015 at 12:14 am

What did the animals eat after the water receded?

      • arc99 February 11th, 2015 at 6:18 pm

though fallen from grace, Bill Cosby had one of my all time favorite laugh out loud lines in his routine about Noah’s ark.

how did Noah know that he had one male and one female mosquito?

        • fahvel February 12th, 2015 at 12:45 am

silly you – it’s the female that buzzes your ear and the male is just there for his schlong-in silence

Pat Robertson believes a 600-year-old-man built an arc in anticipation of a global flood – but he doesn’t believe in climate change.
Makes sense. Especially since he doesn’t know the difference between climate change and the weather.

  7. William February 11th, 2015 at 2:35 pm

    Thanks for the input Pat.

I am by no means an expert on the subject of an “afterlife”.
For a moment lets practice fundamental and more to the point the original risk management.
There is no God; in which case Mr. Robertson has nothing to fear and will continue to enjoy a rich (monetarily) life with all the creature comforts money can by. Along with the worship of a multitude of androids.
But if there is a God; Mr. Robertson will have enjoyed a wonderful life, full of all the above. Now however upon his death he will come to learn the meaning of “the eye of the beholder”. In which he will have wished to have checked out as to whether of not God had a sense of humor.
Either way this joker (and not in funny way) is royally screwed.

The Christian conservative mind is a scary place. Exhibit A — their “sh*t happens” rationalization regarding global warming and climate change trends:

“Global warming is a fallacy. My evidence? It snowed today in Boston.

Of course, if it is real, it has nothing to do with carbon-based gas emissions. My 4th grade science teacher told me so.

But then, if carbon gases are responsible, it has nothing to do with human activity — it’s totally natural, like plastic.

However, if it turns out that global climate change is the result of manmade carbon-based gas emissions, well, it’s God’s will. Therefore, only He can do anything about it.”

And in any case, an increase in average global temperature really isn’t all that bad — after all, you’ll be able to wear tank tops and shorts in January.

it’s -2C on my patio right now with some caked left over snow and it is really getting warmer. Seriously, we used to be frigid and now this is called cold.

  13. liberalMD February 12th, 2015 at 1:45 am

And here’s some advice for Mr. Robertson: With snow on the rooftop and cobwebs in the atiic, you should not be changing careers. You’ll make a lousy weatherman and only make a bigger fool of yourself than you do now by pontificating on that silly little show of yours.
