Former Teen Idol David Cassidy Files For Bankruptcy
The 1970’s icon says he needs to reorganize his life.

In documents filed Wednesday in Florida and obtained by People, the 64-year-old stated he has “assets and debt of up to $10 million.”
…In January 2014, the star wasarrested for drunken driving, which marked his third DUI bust since 2010. Two months later, he was sentenced to three months in rehab and five months probation. (Cassidy recently completed his court-ordered rehab stint, TMZreported last week.)
A few weeks after his January arrest, the actor’s wife Sue Shifrin-Cassidy filed for divorceafter 23 years of marriage.

I loved David Cassidy. He wasn’t my first crush, that was Mark Lester bur “I think I love you” was the very first song I knew all the words to, without the music.In the third grade, I had a huge crush on Randy Coker and when we would go outside for recess, I would sing this to him. This was him. (he doesn’t look like this anymore) This is a picture I took on a field trip – and yes he knows it’s on my FB.

Addiction is a real bitch, but it is absolutely not impossible to overcome, or at least manage. I found in my case after a while off the booze, I became much happier because alcohol is a depressant, which can over time change a person’s neural pathways, resulting in chronic depression.

I remember listening to danny bonaduce on the radio who sat in for other radio personalities while on vacation in Chicago during the 80s. Danny often talked about his tv days with David and the other cast members in the partridge family. Danny was in the same situation as david only he was much younger. I cant imagine what david is going through being 65 Its got to be very tough
