[su_right_ad]House Speaker John Boehner said he didn’t want the White House to mess up the invitation for the Israeli prime minister to come to the United States because of its “animosity” toward him.

“I wanted to make sure there was no interference,” Boehner said. “There’s no secret here in Washington about the animosity that this White House has for Prime Minister Netanyahu. I frankly didn’t want them getting in the way and quashing what I thought was a real opportunity.”

“I’m glad that he’s coming, and I’m looking forward to what he has to say,” Boehner said.

As usual, House Speaker John Boehner is pointing the finger in the wrong direction…
Just like in Bizzaro World, reality is the exact opposite of what is suggested or perceived..

Orange Julius is having a bad year. He got cute with the DHS funding bill and it blew up in his face so he figured he’d double down on stupid and go behind the president’s back and invite Bibi…and now that’s blowing up too…I’d hit the tanning booth if I were you Johnny.

Boehner has animosity towards his own President, and would rather take foreign policy directions from the leader of a foreign country.

Who doesn’t have Animosity’ Toward NetanYahoo?

  6. arc99 February 15th, 2015 at 4:59 pm

The circumvention of standard foreign policy protocol would never have happened if not for the GOP’s animosity towards the President of the United States.

Mr. Speaker, your party needs to find the nearest mirror and take a good long look at the fundamental reason for the animosity infecting American foreign policy.

‘their’ party needs to pack it in and move to South America like the last bunch did in 1945.

Boehner and his gang of wind bags show more patriotism to Israel than America, a
Always jumping when Israel says jump to take a foreign policy favoring towards Israel’s advantage over the USA’ advantage..

Boehner flat out admitted that he didn’t notify the White House in this clip about the Netanyahoo invite. Just imagine if Nancy Pelosi pulled this stunt under President Bush inviting Hugo Chavez or Assad to address Congress without notifying the Bush White House. The amount of disrespect for the office of the President by Republicans thus far is unprecedented.

yea, well these little prickheads haven’t got another radical white racist terrorist back in the White House, but when they do….

respect for the office of a white racist Nazi prickhead?

      NO! WAY!

  9. OldLefty February 15th, 2015 at 7:08 pm

I’m inviting ___________________________ (fill in your choice) to speak at the ‘we the people’ USA Congress without informing Boehner ’cause I know what LYING AH es the Prick heads are, and I wouldn’t want them to interfere.

Sounding stupid is actually pandering to his base, as unbelievable as that sounds, it works.

    What an ass

  12. Tim Coolio February 15th, 2015 at 9:56 pm

If Obama invited him to speak, the GOP would say he’s surrendering to Israel!

  13. Boehner-Monkey February 15th, 2015 at 10:52 pm

First they called me orange. And there is a guy sayin’ I look like a Monkey. Now they won’t pass the Pipeline. The DHS is gonna be mad because of the funding thing. The Tea Party duzzn’t like me. It’s not easy being a Boehner-Monkey.

I’ve heard that Sheldon Adelson is behind this. Thanks to the conservative Supreme Court activists, a handful of billionaires own the GOP. He says “jump” and Boehner says “how high?”

    • fahvel February 16th, 2015 at 3:16 am

do I detect a hint of anti zionism in your cleverly structured comment?

      • Ronald L February 16th, 2015 at 11:01 am

I joke that I’m the last neutral person in the Palestianian-Israeli conflict. (and thanks for the complement on my comment!)

I actually think that this invitation has more to do with American conservative “winner takes all” politics than Israel itself. Support of Israel has long had very solid bi-partisan support in America.

But, the radical right in the GOP want to “own” the issue by driving a wedge between Israel and the Democrats.

That sure seems like Adelson’s game here.

Not much else to say really. How does this guy keep his job? How long can a circus stay in business when the ringmaster is so hated by his own clowns?

  16. Suzanne McFly February 16th, 2015 at 8:03 am

Kind of like the animosity the right has against brain cells.
