Once on the 101, some psycho driver, intentionally tried to make me crash after some perceived slight. I had my wife and toddler in the car!

Road rage incident without a gun: you get the middle finger.
Road rage incident with a gun: someone dies.

      Different story two days later

My point still stands. Even more, if she provoked a shoot-out.

Road rage incident where a criminal has a gun but you don’t = you are dead.

Road rage incident where you carry a gun for protection = criminal dead.

this road rage incident ended up where both had guns and both were idiots and one idiot is dead. there were no good guys with guns here. also, i did see another article explaining why you posted what you did. in my opinion, she’s partially responsible for her own death. My opinion.

          • Maxamillion Mansionhouse III February 19th, 2015 at 4:12 pm

Oh I agree with you, she is responsible for this incident. She should’ve never went after this guy like she did.

Reading what has been said about this it looks very much like she wanted a confrontation to take place and made sure she had a gun to take it to that level so that her pride won in the end.
Well it took her life and ruined a whole bunch of other people’s lives.

agreed. she only had to stay in her home and not involve her son or go after them. everyone made stupid decisions in this case.

Now three days later it seems that she went looking for trouble and it found her… The other driver was faster on the draw than her pistol packin son

A 15 year old girl driving like a 90 year old lady…I’m gonna pass her every time like this guy did. Then she lays on the horn at the guy like he did something wrong??? The family said ‘our daughter had to correct this guy by beeping her horn because she thought he was driving too fast’. Yea…beep your horn at every person you think is driving wrongly. Hope she learned that lesson. The guy simply wanted to get around her.

    Yea I’d be mad too.

Then you realize some minutes later that there’s now a few people in this girl’s car and they’re following you…obviously looking for some sort of confrontation. This means yes you must assume your life could be in danger.

This family messed up big time going after the guy for some sort of justice that they wanted.

The other driver messed up when he ran up on them getting out of their car and made the confrontation actually happen. It appears that they got lost following the guy and gave up on running up on the guy…but the guy instead found them and I’m not believing the family here that they other guy started firing first. They’ve lied several times now to police and the story has changed when the truth came out.

i think you need to re-read the article. there’s no mention of others in her car, there is a mention of others in the shooter’s car.

      • Maxamillion Mansionhouse III February 18th, 2015 at 7:08 pm

        Ready for it…ready???

I’ve read multiple articles on this and I’ve read this one too….

Here’s a quote from another article that pretty much sums up why you need to inform yourself before calling out other people…

“When she got home, Meyers told her daughter to go into the house, wake up the girl’s brother and have him get in the car. Meyers’ son Brandon, 22, brought a registered firearm with him.

Meyers drove back out of the neighborhood to see if she could find the man, Steiber said.”

Now go and inform yourself further before commenting any more and embarrassing yourself due to your own ignorance….and remember kiddo….sometimes the picture is bigger than you realize it is and that other people may comment on things that they have previous information about…that you yourself haven’t taken the time to do.

In this case I’m referring to the fact that you tell me to re-read the article in an attempt to say that I don’t know what I’m talking about….when in fact it is you who does not know what you’re talking about.

where are you reading that from. the article i read was linked to this article and that’s not mentioned. attach link.

Go read other articles about this.

This article is sort of leaving a lot out.

The mother and the daughter went home after the first confrontation after the guy stopped and screamed on her daughter. They went home and woke up her son, told him to bring his gun and he jumped in the car and they drove around looking for this guy. Well they found him and then lost him and went home.

Well this guy found them when they went to the home the 2nd time and that’s when the shooting took place.

“The man then blocked their car, got out and said “some words” that “frightened Mrs. Meyers and her daughter, at which time Mrs. Meyers sped past him” and went home, Steiber said.

“Here’s what happens when she gets home,” the lieutenant continued. “Mrs. Meyers is scared, but she’s upset. She tells her daughter to go wake up her son, 22, to wake him up and have him come outside and get in the car with her so later they can find who frightened them and her daughter out on the roadway.”

“They left the house in search of that person,” Steiber said, and found a grey or silver four-door sedan matching the description of the car in the earlier confrontation. She followed the “suspect vehicle,” then they broke apart and she drove home. Then the vehicle came into their cul-de-sac.
