I’m sure Scott Walker was applauding on the inside, but he really ought to be apologizing and distancing himself from anyone who makes comments like this. After all, after the primaries are over they’ve got to try to find a way to appeal to the entire nation if they have a snowball’s chance of getting elected.…

Scott Walker should be asked if he stands by these comments or not!

  2. Larry Schmitt February 19th, 2015 at 7:45 am

So what Rooty is looking for is a candidate who can speak in platitudes about what a great country this is. Where does that get us? What does that accomplish? That’s business as usual. What we need is a candidate who’s not afraid to speak the truth. We already know Rooty will support whichever candidate the republicans settle for. And that’s what they will do, settle.

Looks to me it’s Mr. Noun, Verb, 9/11 who doesn’t like America, seeing as he’s siding with the leader of Israel over the President of the United States.

Regressives still lack any crossover appeal whatsoever, and have nobody that can beat Hillary. Even Guliani’s own children won’t speak to him! I do not believe that many in America are so dim as to believe Rudy’s horseshit.

  5. Budda February 19th, 2015 at 8:46 am

And I do not think Rudy Tootsie loves America or its citizens.

  6. mrbigstuff February 19th, 2015 at 9:19 am

Why does Rudy hate America so much that he is rooting for terriorist that hate Obama too?

  7. William February 19th, 2015 at 9:43 am

Oh look Rudy is saying stupid things…..again.

You know, back in 2008 when he said: “We are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America” that was probably true. You don’t want to “fundamentally transform” who or what you truly love.
But today, in 2015 with 6 years of implementing what he had in store for the country he probably does love America now.

    • fahvel February 19th, 2015 at 2:14 pm

      huh????????????????

    • tracey marie February 19th, 2015 at 2:14 pm

lol, because fundementally changing a country in a recession and multiple wars due to greed and lying is not worth changing?

Even when it ate up over $11 trillion in projected budget surpluses?
How can you insist on any fiscal restraint when you’re ok with an administration that took us from a policy that would have resulted in over $11 trillion in surpluses over the last decade if they had just left things as they were when they got in office?
And that doesn’t even include the $2 trillion+ cost of the war, er “cakewalk” in Iraq, which Bush and the Republicans kept out of the budget.

When Bush began, Alan Greenspan suggested they include triggers that would kick in when the budget went into deficit, in order to keep it in surplus, which the Republicans swore they would do.
It only took Bush and the Republican Congress 2 years to set a new record in size of the deficit.
Despite 8 years of trying, Bush never got the economy back to what he inherited.

    • Mike February 19th, 2015 at 2:21 pm

Well maybe you liked a crashing housing market, failing banks, a stock market in disarray, two unfunded wars draining the life blood out of the country, the highest unemployment since the depression, $4 gas, etc, etc, etc.
Obama has changed all of that, and did it without any help from the party of no..
      Thanks Obama.

      • John Tarter February 19th, 2015 at 2:43 pm

Crashing housing market? That was brought to us by liberals like Obama who forced banks to give loans to people who couldn’t afford them.

What is sucking the lifeblood out of the country is entitlements and excessive spending and borrowing, again brought to us by liberals like Obama.

More people have permanently left the job market since Obama has been in charge.

Gas is cheap not because of Obama who has prohibited drilling on most Federal lands, but because of drilling and fracking done on private lands. It was you liberals who said we could not drill our way out of high fuel prices and this proved liberal ideas wrong again.

        Thanks, but no thanks Obama!

        • William February 19th, 2015 at 2:47 pm

          • John Tarter February 19th, 2015 at 3:38 pm

Only as an afterthought. They could’ve cut back on producing, but they want to put American oil producers out of business.

          • Hirightnow February 19th, 2015 at 4:48 pm

            Wait, wait…
We’re producing so much oil (that we only just started exporting) that it affects global prices, and yet OPEC not doing anything to stabilize prices will somehow hurt us?
You’re dumber than I thought, and I had you pegged as “Needs help with Velcro sneakers” dumb!

But even so, Obama was right not to let them drill on federal lands because there were ample private lands to exploit…I’m not sure what you’re arguing about…gas is $2.08 where I live…Thanks Obama.

            They did, Einstein.

          • Hirightnow February 19th, 2015 at 11:02 pm

By lowering the price of oil that we have already?
            So, we pay ourselves less?
            Seriously….pass that over here!

        • Joel Berger February 19th, 2015 at 4:31 pm

It amazes me that right wingers can spew such misinformation with a straight face.

        • Mike February 19th, 2015 at 4:33 pm

The crash happened before Obama was elected…wow he must be good. Here’s the real reason for the housing crash…and it’s got Bush’s name on it.

          http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/21/business/worldbusiness/21iht-admin.4.18853088.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Excessive spending and borrowing is the result of two unfunded wars that cost Bush $10 trillion and Obama another $7 Trillion. Don’t forget, Clinton left a surplus that Bush not only squandered but then blew an additional $10 Trillion.

Gas is cheap because Obama allowed all that drilling to be permitted…you can drill all you want on private land but you have to move the oil to a refinery and that requires a permit. There are other reasons but they’re too complex for you to grasp.

        • arc99 February 19th, 2015 at 5:09 pm

“”More people have permanently left the job market since Obama has been in charge.””

The Baby Boom generation which was the largest in the history of our nation is retiring.

“”Crashing housing market? That was brought to us by liberals like Obama who forced banks to give loans to people who couldn’t afford them.””

The Community Reinvest Act (CRA) affected only banks and savings and loan institutions. Mortgage shops such as CountryWide Lending had absolutely no obligation to comply with the CRA, and these were the companies which funded the overwhelming majority of the junk loans which led to the crash.

Do you right wingers ever tell the truth about anything?

        • burqa February 19th, 2015 at 6:07 pm

Forgotten Bush’s “ownership society” policy, eh?

Whenever we hear a republican start a sentence with “I shouldn’t say this, but…” I believe we need to put every microphone and recording device on and make sure we capture what they say. At some point, they all offend everyone and hopefully eventually no one will be willing to support their ideology.

Just another simple-minded right winger who self-righteously wraps himself in the flag and indignantly declares that “love of America” and patriotism are character attributes exclusive to those who share his political ideology.
