How Netanyahu Is Exploiting American Politics And Alienating American Jews
[su_right_ad]The Israeli Prime minister is exploiting the rift between Republicans and Democrats, and firmly siding with the right, even though the overwhelming majority of American Jews vote Democratic.
Some American Jews, to be sure, support the Republicans, but for most, to back a party so hostile to minority and immigrant rights is all but unnatural. It’s not in their DNA. This egalitarianism also informs many American Jews’, and American Zionists’, support for a two-state solution establishing a Palestinian state that abuts Israel…
For now, Israel’s prime minister is aligning himself with one of America’s two camps. It’s not the camp that commands — or even can command — the support of most American Jews. That will pose a problem for Israel.[su_center_ad]

If someone had done that during Bush’s Presidency, I can’t imagine they’d be all ok with it. It’s disgraceful. I really disliked Bush, but I would be pissed if he was treated the way this President has been treated. I’m really disgusted. I’ve always been a middle of the road indie but I find that everyday, there is nothing … and I mean nothing appealing in today’s GOP. Everyday, it’s something incredibly hypocritical or a bald face lie, or worse … makes no logical sense. They’re making Reagan look sane.
