[su_right_ad]I wonder if this means that, if both of the president’s parents were black, the former New York mayor would, then, be racist. The comment in question was Giuliani’s statement, “He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up, through love of this country.”

Critics suggested that Mr. Giuliani’s description of Mr. Obama’s upbringing reflected a prejudiced view that Mr. Obama was different from other Americans.

In an interview with The New York Times, Mr. Giuliani dismissed the criticism and said he was describing the worldview that had shaped Mr. Obama’s upbringing.

“Some people thought it was racist — I thought that was a joke, since he was brought up by a white mother, a white grandfather, went to white schools, and most of this he learned from white people,” Mr. Giuliani said in the interview. “This isn’t racism. This is socialism or possibly anti-colonialism.”

Anti-colonialism: So Obama is being accused of not wanting to take over other countries.

If you feel inclined to deny that you’re a racist, chances are you’re a racist.

He wasn’t born stupid, that is just something he adopted to win the republican primary.

Giuliani is totally ignorant of American society and of history. America itself was created in opposition to the system of British colonialism. What is wrong with being anti-colonialist? Nothing. It is obvious that the President loves America via his own statements on how he feels about America. Rudy Giuliani is issuing a distraction when we should be focused on real issues like living wages, poverty, education, the problem of police brutality, the environment, etc. Also, the President is nowhere near a socialist. Rudy clearly doesn’t know what a socialist is. His criterion for racism is ludicrous. Rudy is a neo-conservative with extreme views. It is as simple as that.

All I can say is that as he gets older he’s become more crude.

Yeah he is not a racist any more than Ross Barnett, George Wallace, or Bull Conner. He is a low life and has thrown away any thing remotely identified as integrity.

One thing I know for sure…you’re a complete and total a**hole who will demand respect for the president if a Republican ever gets back in the White House, Rudy.

So if the KKK killed black men who had white mothers or fathers then those were not racist crimes? And all those Jews whose fathers were not Jewish killed in the Holocaust by the Nazis – that was not anti-semitic. Giuliani – you are a skunk-bastard liar and a vile racist piece of garbage.

You’d think the media and the left would inundate us with examples of How Obama loves America by now. All I’ve seen is Dave Axelrod saying the he personally loves America. He might as well said “I’m not like Obama”

It’s self evident. He bought the nation back from the brink. But I guess in right wing wacko-land it’s more about talk not action. Very well, just this once.
