RWNJ: Obama Wants ‘Final Solution’ For America

Citing a fabricated quote from “The Audacity of Hope,” which she claims may have actually been written by Bill Ayers, BarbWire columnist Sher Zieve writes today that President Obama is bent on “destroying the USA and replacing its legal citizens with Muslims and other illegals, in order to create a new country of his making.”
According to Zieve, Obama plans to flood the country with Muslim immigrants in order to build his own caliphate.
“Everything Obama and the Islamo-Nazi new world order is now doing is designed to implement the ‘Final Solution’ for the USA, … that of the North American Caliphate which Obama plans to head,” Zieve said.

As the late Rod Serling used to say, I submit for your consideration Presidential executive order 2009-15 dated January 27 2009. For those of you scoring at home, that would be 7 days after President Obama’s first inauguration.
A few months after the order was issued, the right wing hysteria machine was in a frenzy. According to them, executive order 2009-15 was part of a devious plot by this Muslim Kenyan President to bring thousands of Hamas sympathizers to America at taxpayer expense and have them settle here.
Unfortunately, the nonsense did not end with fringe blogs and viral emails. On the floor of the United States Senate, John Kyl R-AZ proposed an appropriation amendment to explicitly ban the use of funds for a policy that DID NOT EXIST.
Of course, none of it was true. There was no plan to settle Hamas representatives or sympthaizers in the United States using tax dollars or any other source of funds. It was all simply the first of what we now know to be a six year campaign of disinformation, ignorance and outright lies.
As they say on those late night commericials though, but wait there is more.
Not only did President Obama’s executive order not do anything like what the hysterics were screaming about, the order was nothing more than a routine continuation of humanitarian aid to West Bank Palestinians, first authorized by President George W. Bush in executive order 2007-19 dated May 10 2007. When you read the text of Mr. Bush;s order 2007-19 and Mr. Obama’s order 2009-15, you will see that Obama’s version is almost a photocopy of Bush’s order.
And with that, the campaign of unabashed lying by the right wing noise machine had begun.
This Politifact article has some pertinent details. Google the executive order numbers yourself and then ask yourselves why an order issued by President Bush was not controversial at all. But the exact same order which was simply renewed by President Obama undermines the very fabric of our republic. Of course it fits in nicely with the right wing meme over the years, e.g. how dare Obama take vacations like every other President before him, how dare Obama use a teleprompter like very other President before him, etc. etc.
The handwriting was on the wall just a few months after Inauguration Day 2009. Right wingers were throwing a fit about the black guy getting elected. The truth would have no role in their opposition to anything he did.
So, to conservative and right wing participants in this forum, President Obama had been in office for four months when it became clear that no intelligent person should trust a single word you say without double and triple checking the underlying facts. I can only say that events over the past 6 years have done nothing other than confirm what I first suspected in 2009. Many of you are either clueless, or pathological liars or both.
No, both sides do not do it.

But it didn’t take days to know they would be doing whatever it took to stymie anything President Obama tries to do as of his inauguration night.
The meeting of top Republicans on inauguration night, agreeing to obstruct anything Obama tried to do, was the start of it.
(And it probably started even before that.)
