[su_right_ad]And this is a Republican lawmaker who runs a health care business out of her home.

Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore (R) recently claimed that cancer is a fungus and could be flushed out of the body.

Fiore, who runs a health care business out of her home, made the claims on her local radio show over the weekend, according

“If you have cancer, which I believe is a fungus,” said Fiore. “And we can put a pic line into your body and we’re flushing with, say, salt water, sodium cardonate through that line and flushing out the fungus. These are some procedures that are not FDA-approved in America that are very inexpensive, cost-effective.”

MSNBC notes that cancer is not a fungus.

As for the alleged cure, it’s likely that Fiore was referring to sodium bicarbonate (also known as baking soda), which has been widely rumored on the web to treat cancer, but does not.

We have, officially, purged our State Legislature of all it’s mindless dolts. Michelle is certainly proud testament to that fact!
And our talk show hosts…..finest in the country!
We Nevadans, can assume national supremacy on those fronts! Take that, America!

The right must have some sort of contest going on, who can say the stupidest statement? Whoever wins gets a weekend with the queen of Wasilla.

    • Larry Schmitt February 26th, 2015 at 7:30 am

That’s the only thing that explains these inexplicable statements coming from this crowd.

    • Warman1138 February 26th, 2015 at 10:11 am

  7. Larry Schmitt February 26th, 2015 at 7:31 am

What planet did she get her medical degree? How did she even figure out how to use a microphone to get a radio show?

    • AmusedAmused February 26th, 2015 at 10:25 am

You liberal elitists and your snobbish book learnin’.

  8. AmusedAmused February 26th, 2015 at 9:24 am

Cut her a break, she’s obviously had a ferocious fungal infection eat away at her brain.

  9. Warman1138 February 26th, 2015 at 10:16 am

All those nuclear tests during the forties and fifties are now bearing fruit, brain cell degeneration.

  10. William February 26th, 2015 at 10:33 am

Could she be confusing this with the controversial HiPec ‘Hot Chemo Bath’ cancer treatment?

  11. Foundryman February 26th, 2015 at 10:55 am

A little bit of salt water, a few minutes of prayer and a quickie visit to Harold Angsley and poof…you’re healed…who needs doctors or insurance?

    What a moron!

  13. Budda February 26th, 2015 at 12:00 pm

She is obviously stupid, but what do we label those that listen to her? Much less vote for her?

  14. jybarz February 26th, 2015 at 12:02 pm

Now we know what a fungus is and looks like. She has to be flushed out. She is a cancer to society. Her stupidity is incurable.

Memo to Michele Fiore [please note that this is the 10 hour long version]:

    • Larry Schmitt February 26th, 2015 at 6:14 pm

And she would be stupid enough to watch the whole thing, to see how it turns out.

  16. Barry Shitpeas February 26th, 2015 at 12:42 pm

Being an ex-porn star, this is a woman who knows what she’s talking about. There won’t be a fungal infection she hasn’t had.

  17. Bunya February 26th, 2015 at 2:07 pm

Where does she get the idea that cancer is a fungus? Silly woman. Everybody knows cancer is God’s punishment for gays and non-Christians, and the only way to get rid of it is to have Bobby Jindal exorcize it out.

Well at least we have found out what the Republican alternative plan to Obamacare is – now is anybody ready to sign up?

  19. allison1050 February 26th, 2015 at 7:03 pm

    Such a dumbass isn’t she?

  20. liberalMD February 27th, 2015 at 8:50 am

What a scam!!!! She’s Nevada’s answer to Todd Akin.

Unfortunately, there are enough people who will
take her at her word and too many people in Nevada government who don’t
give a rat’s XXX that she will be able to practice voodoo medicine at
will for as long as she pleases.
