[su_right_ad]You see? It’s cold out.  That should shut up those damn climate change liberals!

“In case we have forgotten – because we keep hearing that 2014 has been the warmest year on record – I ask the chair, do you know what this is? It’s a snowball from outside here. So it’s very, very cold out.”

Inhofe’s snowball was a bit of “evidence” used to further attempt his longstanding argument that global warming isn’t real. “We hear the perpetual headline that 2014 has been the warmest year on record, but now the script has flipped,” he said.

And “Snow Ball” is grateful.

There’s no cure for this level of stupid.

    • Suzanne McFly February 27th, 2015 at 8:26 pm

Well I think there is one cure, we could color jim’s skin black and send him to Zimmerman’s neighborhood.

  2. Larry Schmitt February 27th, 2015 at 8:09 pm

And the good news is that this ignoramus is the chairman of the Senate committee on environment. How much damage can he do in two years?

    • StoneyCurtisll February 27th, 2015 at 8:19 pm

      Now that is indeed shocking!

  3. Mike February 27th, 2015 at 8:10 pm

Wow, a snowball…!!!! Why didn’t I think of that…? Here I’ve been crunching numbers when the answer was just a little white fluffy stuff.
I have a dog named Einstein, he’s 3 times smarter than Inhofe.

    • Larry Schmitt February 27th, 2015 at 8:17 pm

Most of the fleas on Einstein are smarter than this brainless wonder.

  4. Guy Lauten February 27th, 2015 at 8:14 pm

Equivalent argument: “In my hand I have a burrito, and there are many more where that came from, so I am happy to tell you all that global hunger has ended. Anyone who says different is a liar paid for by an elite scientist conspiracy.”

    • Larry Schmitt February 27th, 2015 at 8:19 pm

But you can’t seriously expect the whole world to eat burritos.

      • Guy Lauten February 27th, 2015 at 8:42 pm

We’d wind up with a SERIOUS methane problem, huh? Hmmm…

        • Larry Schmitt February 27th, 2015 at 8:42 pm

          Renewable energy.

  5. StoneyCurtisll February 27th, 2015 at 8:18 pm

    Wow…
If snowball is all it takes to prove that “climate change is a world wide hoax by scientist just to get tax payer money to fund their research”< Rick Perry and others..
Yet they will believe in virgin births, rising from the dead, ascension to heaven, the raputre, end times prophesy, 6,000 year old earth, Noah and an ark, Jonah in a whale, tower of Babel, prayers are answered, Satan and Hell are real, or that they believe they are going to an imaginary heaven when they die…
They sure have a weak grasp on reality.

  6. Obewon February 27th, 2015 at 8:19 pm

Consensus: “97% of climate scientists agree” modern global warming is 80% caused by human burning fossil fuel, 20% caused by human defrestation-NASA, NOAA, MET et al http://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus/

    • StoneyCurtisll February 27th, 2015 at 8:20 pm

      But but but….
Didn’t you see the snow ball???

      • Suzanne McFly February 27th, 2015 at 8:24 pm

That is the first time anyone ever told jim he has a big ball

    • StoneyCurtisll February 27th, 2015 at 8:23 pm

      Only 97%…
That leaves room for Inhofe and his tiny band of deniers to wiggle.

The rest work for or are paid off by the energy sector.

I wonder if inhofe where to sit in a tub of water that was slowly heated to boiling.. well you know the experiment heh

      • Larry Schmitt February 27th, 2015 at 8:42 pm

The frog would have the sense to jump out, but not the senator.

He’s a typical example of GOP/Teabags/Koch/Right Wingers/Conservatives… a bunch that really don’t care about you, us and humanity, it’s just about them having the money & power at all costs by: lying, killing, fraud & corruption.

Since Republicans don’t believe in science, why should we believe anything they say about the Keystone Pipleline?

  14. fahvel February 28th, 2015 at 3:36 am

I know it’s useless to ask, but how do such narrow minded and rather stupid people get elected to an office? Do they reflect the depth of their constituents? Yes? may the Olympians protect you all.

I expect that the next time a tsunami or hurricane hits, some right wing, grey matter challenged bagger will drag a gay person into the halls of congress, and proudly exclaim “SEE? what more proof do you need?”

So, only after there is no snow in February, or winter for that matter, will he admit to climate change? I would think that’s an epiphany that is a little late.

    As Spock would say, fascinating….

The ignorance found in these anti-science right wingers have no bounds.
