[su_right_ad]Anomaly has yet another story of a child who found parents’ guns.

Harris County Precinct 5 Captain Romeo Chapa told ABC 13 they believe the child’s parents have a concealed handgun permit and that the child may have found the gun and accidentally shot himself.

The child was airlifted to a hospital, where he died.

According to KHOU, Investigators say the boy found the gun in a purse up on a shelf.

“I’m thinking how horrible it is for a child that young to have access to a gun,” a nearby neighbor said. “You don’t want to blame the parents, by any means, but if I had a 3 year old child in the house, there wouldn’t be a gun.”

Really? I do want to blame the parents.

You don’t want to blame the parents? I sure as hell do.

Who else can you blame? The child? That neighbor is an idiot. What happened to trigger locks? If the gun is kept for “protection” as so many claim, how much use is it if their home is invaded and the gun is still in the purse on a shelf? The purported reason for having the gun is bullsh*t.

“You don’t want to blame the parents, by any means.” No, actually that’s EXACTLY what you want to do.

Blame them and charge them with the highest charges you can. Lock them up…they are not careful enough to have access to anything.

Mom and Dad’s second amendment rights trumped the little one’s right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

blame the parents – charge them with endangerment and let them spend their misery outside of a society that may still have a sane aspect to it.
