In other words, he stacked the deck with ringers.

Per Slate’s Betsy Woodruff, Bush’s Right to Rise PAC bussed in supporters for his CPAC appearance yesterday.

Woodruff obtained emails in which an advance team for Bush’s PAC is seen coordinating transportation from DC in an effort to secure as many seats as possible during Bush’s Q&A…

One CPAC attendee told Woodruff Bush was the only speaker to bus in supporters. That might be because, as the putative establishment choice, Bush faces pushback from the more conservative elements of the Republican Party, who come out in force for CPAC.

I’d like to say I’m surprised, but I’m not.

And that makes me very sad.

Those buses and many more will be working overtime as Jeb tries to gain the GOP Presidential nomination. That is something all of the other runners have to be aware of. After all he is a BUSH lie, cheat, steal to get what you want.

I bet that whole show was funnier than the comedy cellar on weed.

Jeb follows his bro W and GHWB Sr who payed to bus in faux supporters too!

At AT&T HQ during Bush Sr’s 1992 fail, I and a dozen others awaited Sr’s Presidential motorcade trailed by 3 vans full of campaign staffers waving pre-printed signs on sticks from inside their vans. Sr’s motorcade slowed to the taped-off area where he was supposed to stop and greet all 12 of us, plus the press photographers. Instead Bush Sr. slowed as he drove by belching through his presidential Mr. Microphone saying “Thanks for coming out.” I knew then Sr was History and that we had defeated the then worst modern POTUS in U.S. history!

“Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record!”-WSJ 1/09/2009 W’s 1.08 M private jobs 8 year W total, and 2nd Worst is GHWB’s 2.5 M four year total. http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/

Jebbie is very familiar, and comfortable, with bussing in supporters because he was instrumental in doing it in FL to help his big brother win the presidency, when he was governor.

Sad that is something he would have to do to not be booed out of a building, why even go if that event if there is a chance that would happen? Seems as if someone would realize how fake it is and would not want to participate because it is morally wrong. I guess their politics trump their morals.

As usual, Obewon is correct on this one. I was standing outside at a campaign rally for GWB’s re-election in Michigan, when most all of the audience was already inside getting revved-up. Suddenly three buses zoomed into the parking lot, jam-packed with Bush supporters who were quickly rushed inside to blend-in with the locals who were present for the rally. All three of those yellow church-school buses had out-of-state plates. I really saw GOP politics in action that day, which was likely wholly missed by those who were already inside.
