Dana Loesch found herself once again leading the poor, downtrodden, picked on conservative Christians’ bandwagon at this year’s CPAC. You’ve just gotta’ love the entire premise of this panel — which included right wing columnist Cal Thomas, right wing hate talker Dana Loesch, hate group, the Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, and birther wingnut Rep.…

Jon Stewart – “Yes, the long war on Christianity. I pray that one day we may live in an America where Christians can worship freely! In broad daylight! Openly wearing the symbols of their religion… perhaps around their necks? And maybe — dare I dream it? — maybe one day there can be an openly Christian President. Or, perhaps, 43 of them. Consecutively.”

that might take a while. The first five presidents were NOT christians, they were Deists. Lincoln was, at best, an Agnostic. There’s also speculation that Eisenhower wasn’t really a christian either.

Too bad the RWNJ’s don’t know most of the founding fathers were deists too.

It’s not enough that christians already control the entire world, they want more.

    • Dwendt44 February 28th, 2015 at 7:23 pm

It isn’t just ‘control’, it’s total control they seek.

  4. whatthe46 February 28th, 2015 at 6:21 pm

why don’t they just come up with a new religion, cause what they preach and believe, surely isn’t anything close to christianity.

Christian conservatives continually strive to impose their own religious, dogmatic mores onto the rest of society and then attempt to be perceived as righteous martyrs when their efforts are rebuffed.
Sorry folks, you are the persecutors in this conflict, not the persecuted.

In the America that REAL Americans love, you are able to carry your faith with you. That’s why the Pledge of Allegiance to the US Flag should either go back to the ORIGINAL version or be updated to include ALL Deities of ALL faiths held by REAL Americans or a nice long pause for those with NO preferences.

BTW – for anti-Americans who HATE America, Jesus cannot be the REAL Commander in Chief of REAL Americans who love America because he was not elected POTUS.
Under the US Constitution, the POTUS is the CIC of REAL Americans who love America.

As one who fully qualifies as a PROPHET OF GOD per the requirements as set forth in the Scriptures (100% accuracy – anything less requires they be taken outside the city and hit with big ass rocks until DEAD) I think Jesus not only understands, but fully agrees.

The only thing that made any sense was “pray at home”

Huh? I always thought that xtians already have special privileges well beyond those of atheists in this country. They get special privileges like tax exemptions just because their philosophy is based upon worshipping non-existent deities. Why do xtians need to use their personal belief system as a reason to be protected from those nasty atheists. Shen has no factual examples to substantiate her claim. But she is on Fox News. Where facts just get the way of their daily sermons to the faithful. And why should people who believe in an imaginary god get preferential treatment because they argue that those that worship imaginary beings should be special. And perhaps institutionalized as well

“Men, never do Evil so completely, and cheerfully, as when they do it from
Religious conviction”…. Blaise Pascal, French Philosopher (1623-1662)
Seems to me, it’s the NON-believers, and the Christian left, that need added protection (from the ‘Christian’ Right)
