Did you hear the one where the top guy at the CIA cuts a deal for handing over classified material to his mistress? He might get a whole year in prison for it, but it looks more likely he’ll get a slap on the hand and maybe even keep his security clearance. Yes, that’s real. About…

I now believe penis has a brain far superior to the one up in the head. So, he is a two headed monster like any red blooded man there is. I am at times, and maybe lose my head in certain situation where a beautiful temptress is around. Hmm, I mean the high level head… No, I don’t mean level headed. It’s when my head above the shoulder is overruled by little dickhead. Oops, that’s embarassing lie calling Dickie little đŸ™‚

This sure reeks of privilege and corruption. Is there any wonder why some people think there are problems with our government?

Why isn’t this asshole in Leavenworth? 20 years plus hard labor?

As a career NCO, I can say that an enlisted man convicted of the same crimes would be doing ten years in Leavenworth. Or eleven years in Twelveworth, as Groucho said. (I just never get a chance to use that)

        Yep.
Others who mishandled classified information who come immediately to mind who got slaps on the wrist are Sandy Berger and John Deutch.
To deter other high-ranking officials in the future, we need an example set of someone, and it may as well be Petraeus.

That’s a pretty serious security breach, far greater than what I’d imagined.
My guess is he’ll get a fine and a suspended sentence. I seriously doubt Alan’s suggestion that he’ll keep his security clearance.

What I find interesting is the way Alan seems willing to come down on Petraeus, but not Edward Snowden, who not only stole highly classified information, but took it to red China and Russia.

With Republicans it seems like it is always “do as I say and not as I do.”
