Yeah, this will get him the Republican nomination alright.

Mike Huckabee stopped by Steve Deace’s radio program yesterday to discuss Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress and the ongoing negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.

Claiming that Obama doesn’t see how dangerous Iran is, Deace asked Huckabee: “Is it because he doesn’t love America? Is it because he has a worldview that blinds him to the realities of good vs. evil?”

“I believe he does not want America to be the superpower that we have been,” Huckabee responded. “It’s almost as if he’s afraid of that. He believes that America would be better off as ‘one of the boys’ instead of the big brother.”

Thank goodness the only way Huckster will effect the future of this nation in any way, is if somehow one of his books falls out of the 2 dollar bin at Wal-Mart and is tripped over by a real politician.

      Excellent post.
Too bad the ignorant hillbillies can’t see it because they’re blinded by their own hatred toward our twice elected President.

Interesting choice of words for a duck dynasty conservative , “big brother”.

How can we be big government and less government at the same time? More intrusive in foreign land, less intrusive at home? Hucksbee’s ilk are d.u.m.b. stooopid

    • bluejayray March 7th, 2015 at 3:19 pm

If you’re a woman, it’s intrusive either way.

It is the difference between leading and dictating…Huckabee wants to dictate to the rest of the world what to do…the President leads us to a possible diplomatic situation that somewhat deescalates a very dangerous part of the world…

Never ceases to amaze me that the biggest cheerleaders for confrontation are those that have never served a minute in uniform.

like him or not, he got this one right.

Huckabee is such an effing idiot. It scares me that people think he’s smart.

    • Ronald L March 8th, 2015 at 12:17 am

      Who thinks he is smart?

I can’t remember even his supporters saying that of him.

Mike Huckabee has gone the way of Pat Robertson and Franklin Graham. Their relevance is going the way of the dinosaurs, and they will say anything stupid, nonsensical and untrue – anything – to keep from slowly fading away from the public view.

Why does this dumbfck and other GOP blowhards think and crap on that they and they alone seem to love USA? So much love that they almost bankrupt it and sent thousands of Americans and others to die and injured in a war they lied was necessary? I’d say they hate by their actions and not due to love.

    • granpa.usthai March 8th, 2015 at 12:58 am

the ONLY love GOPs have for America is the American Dollars in their unregulated offshore bank accounts. Don’t take a whole lot of figuring to see where groups such as ISIS could get considerable financial backing – if it means more US Military contracts for the investors.

I wish someone would ask him about the bill he signed into law while governor of Arkansas. The bill modified state law so that all employers except those businesses directly involved in religious endeavors as their primary income, must include contraceptives in any employee insurance plan seeking state approval.

In other words, it was exactly the same mandate on a state level which right wingers raised such a fuss about when the same proposal came from the Obama administration.

That silence you hear is the complete absence of any right wingers screaming that the Arkansas bill signed into law by Mr. Huckabee is an assault on religious freedom.

    http://www.arkleg.state.ar.us/assembly/2005/R/Acts/Act2217.pdf

    23-79-1103. Parity for contraceptives.
23 (a) Every health benefit policy that is delivered, issued, executed,
24 or renewed in this state or approved for issuance or renewal in this state by
25 the Insurance Commissioner on or after the effective date of this subchapter
26 that provides coverage for prescription drugs on an outpatient basis shall
27 provide coverage for prescribed drugs or devices approved by the United
28 States Food and Drug Administration for use as a contraceptive.

After Bush and the GOP were done with the country, we were demonstrably weaker by every metric.

And Mike Huckabee cheer led that disaster every stop of the way.

  14. granpa.usthai March 8th, 2015 at 12:53 am

Huckabee and his fellow RepubliCONs should take into consideration that all their ‘divine’ info is from the very same LYING tongues that dragged America into Iraq. If Iran turns out to be another holy F up, Israelis could wind up being in exile for another 2000 years with Ben and his GOP buddies in Dubai counting out their take.

Anything to Bash Obama Syndrome, can strike anywhere and anytime. Untreated, it can lead to a disassociation from reality and possibly brain damage. It is contagious, listening to infected individuals can spread the malaise and lead to extremely bizarre behavior.
