There are several ways to deal with a problem. You can confront the problem and solve it. Or you can take the approach that Rick Scott’s Florida is doing: dunking your head in the sand and hoping you don’t drown, since Miami’s right there on the coast and will be one of the first cities in…

He’s already banned using the term “Medicare fraud” from the state house, so something a bit less personal doesn’t seem like a stretch for him.

better than legislation against non-existent problems. But then again, you know quite a bit about banning the truth it seems. TTFN

From the crowd who swears a 600 year old wino named Noah built a boat to impossibly float and feed all billions of species on their 6,000 year old Earth! When Miami sinks they’l scream ‘It’s Noah. He has risen…’

when the kids of Florida start having to wear “bread bags” for those
“excessive puddle days” or instead of school busses, they ride in gondolas to school…
it may dawn on some parents to consider leaving.
on the upside, brand new beach front property will be opening up all over.
on the downside, having to re-gerrymander all those new districts and having to vote by boat, might be a real drag.

The word ‘global’ implies a round object. From now on, the term ‘flat earth’ will be substituted.

So, the problem is not that the oceans are rising, the problem must be that the ground is sinking from all the weight of Federal regulations and of course illegal aliens.

“… they’re not allowed to use any terms that aren’t deemed ‘a true fact'”.
    .
Really? What’s a “true fact”? Noah’s Ark? I think everyone in the Midwest should close down their borders to detain the influx of Floridians migrating north to avoid the rising waters on the coast. That’s what’s going to happen sooner than we think.

    • Zara March 11th, 2015 at 6:04 pm

yeah but you ban people who state facts and prove you are a bigot. you refer to blacks with the N word too? perhaps you should label jars, not people or join the stormfront crowd. Your hate speech is pathetic

  8. Maxx44 March 9th, 2015 at 3:22 pm

Reminds me of Tennessee’s efforts to pass “Don’t say the word GAY” in public schools legislation.

Violators will be charged with heresy and shall be locked in the dungeon.

There’s something mentally & morally wrong with repukes/conservatives. They lack the ability to discern right from wrong on simple to complex issues. Two words about them: Evil Idiots!

About as easy as banning ID’s for extra bodies at the Dozier School Cemetery.

  14. bpollen March 10th, 2015 at 5:42 am

New policy – when a Florida resident brings up “global warming” in conversation, all state employees are henceforth required to place a finger in each ear and chant “Lalalalala” at great volume.
