Ted Cruz speaks at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland[su_r_sky_ad]Yes, The Doc pleads guilty (along with many others) to calling the herd of GOP Prez-wannabes the “clown car”. And you have to admit it – Ted Cruz would be the bozo who looks like he came straight out of a Stephen King novel.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tx.) took an odd approach to riling up voters in a New Hampshire speech on Sunday — by shouting at a child. According to reports, at an event held by the Strafford County Republican Committee, Cruz attempted to convey the urgency of the American political situation:

“It’s now or never,” he said. “I don’t think we’ve reached the point of no return yet. But we’re close. We are close! And I believe if we go four or eight more years on this same path, we risk losing the greatest country in the history of the world.”

He continued: “And the Obama-Clinton foreign policy of leading from behind — the whole world is on fire.”

“The world is on fire?!” asked a little girl who was in the arms of her mother.

The world is on fire,” he replied. “Yes! Your world is on fire!

After a moment in which his bizarre fearmongering set in, he revised his statement.

“But you know what?” he said. “Your mommy is here and everyone is here to make sure that the world you grow up in is even better.”

Good thing there’s Obamacare. Something tells me that little girl is going to need years of therapy.

Pure crazy, scary talk from the Canadian presidential-wannabe. Yes, it’s all gloom and doom, that is, if he or any GOP like him becomes president.

He’s been scaring adults ever since he got in the senate.

He was on morning Joe and between the two of them, absolutely no complete thought was stated. Joe would throw the nutjob a cookie and nj would eat it up. Mika came on asking about the letter he signed that added unneeded pressure to agreements with Iran, nj did not give an answer. He just speaks with such a magical cadence, no one feels the need to pressure him for an answer, they seem mesmerized by his voice and cannot muster up a follow up question.

Is it possible that this guy might be more fun to watch than Sarah? Do we dare get our hopes up?, and is comedy central a publically traded stock? If so I need to call my broker right away.

The only thing ‘on fire’ is his pants.

So, a kid being scared by political rhetoric is a newsworthy event? God forbid the little darling feel even a split-second of fear, from within her bubble-wrapped, overly-sheltered sphere of existence. Give me a break!
