Cliven Bundy Trying To Stop Feds From Owning Land

Nevada state Assemblywoman Michele Fiore (R) and supporters of Nevada ranger Cliven Bundy are planning on gatheriing in Carson City, Nevada on March 31 for a hearing on legislation sponsored by Fiore that prevents the federal government from owning Nevada land without the state’s permission.
The bill, which a committee of the state Assembly will hear on the 31, is called the Nevadan’s Resource Rights Bill and is a measure that comes as a result of Bundy’s resistance to paying grazing fees and the resulting confrontation with the Bureau of Land Management one year ago, according to Jon Ralston’s ralstonreports.com. That standoff attracted militia members and Fiore to Bundy’s ranch.

The state has the responsibility for collecting taxes on use of public lands for private profit

First of all, there would be no Nevada if not for the Federal Government.
Secondly, Federal lands are my lands and your lands. They
belong to all citizens and grazing leases were a favor extended to assist
ranchers in this area given at a bargain basement price.
Bundy is a thief as well as a violent seditious criminal who should be in prison for threatening
Federal agents. No matter what insane legislation the state tries to pass at
this point, the facts don’t change.

Whether the lands belong to the State or the Fed Gov, moocher Bundy would have to pay for the use of the lands, wouldn’t he? I think this POS is bullying the US gov and people.
