[su_right_ad]It’s not Iran, Saudi Arabia or Yemen that is the worst violator of human rights according to the UN; it’s Israel.

Last week, Israel was the U.N.’s number one women’s rights violator. This week it is the U.N.’s all-round human rights villain….

There were four resolutions on Israel. And one on North Korea — a country that is home to government policies of torture, starvation, enslavement, rape, disappearances, and murder – to name just some of its crimes against humanity.

Four resolutions on Israel. And one on Syria. Where the death toll of four years of war is 100,000 civilians, ten million people are displaced, and barrel bombs containing chemical agents like chlorine gas are back in action.

Four resolutions on Israel. And one on Iran. Where there is no rule of law, no free elections, no freedom of speech, corruption is endemic, protestors are jailed and tortured, religious minorities are persecuted, and pedophilia is state-run.  At last count, in 2012 Iranian courts ordered more than 30,000 girls ages 14 and under to be “married.”

And what did that one resolution on Iran say? Co-sponsored by the United States, it was labelled a “short procedural text,” consisting of just three operative paragraphs that contained not a single condemnation of Iran.[su_center_ad]

The Israel resolutions, on the other hand, were full of “demands,” “condemns,” “expresses grave concern,” and “deplores” – along with orders to “cease immediately” a long list of alleged human rights violations.

This is news to who????? The gopee??? They are the first to endorse this type of behavior…and the US in general has ALWAYS condoned this type of behavior…over looking egregious violations(USS Liberty) to support our ally(?).

Why do we let this den of despots hold their meetings here?

    • StoneyCurtisll March 29th, 2015 at 10:00 am

Only problem you have is you cannot prove the people being hung are in Iran or that they are gay…
But dont let that stop you from pretending you care.

        Red I is getting boring.

Is that his comment that was deleted?
It’s to be expected on the weekends because he’s not in the studio with his partner, collaborating on zingers to post during show-prep. It’s just Gary by himself and Eric is the one with the sense of humor.
There’s the same dropoff when one of them goes on vacation.
The fun part can be during the show when Gary talks about all the ass he kicks online and how no one ever has a rebuttal for one of his points.

Because if they met somewhere else, you’d have even more paranoid concerns about them.

Unbelievable! It’s going to get worse for Israel if US holds back its support, no thanks to Cry-Bibi.

Bad, deceptive headline. The whole UN did not vote on this. It was the UN Human Rights Council.

Israel the number one women’s rights violator in the world, eh?
The ridiculousness of it all shows how the UN Human Rights Council has become a tool of Jew-haters.
This goes all the way back to the mid-70s when Arab Jew-hating bigots introduced a resolution that equated zionism with racism. I believe it was Jimmy Carter who shot that one down, loudly with emphasis. Since then the bigots have made one attempt after the other to do crap like this and all it does is ruin any standing the UN Human Rights Council.
This is all a farce and not worth taking seriously.
I would like to see good reporters ask good questions of diplomats and national leaders of the nations that voted on this and get them to expound on their understanding of what human rights are and explain why Israel is the worst.

Once again we see another example of why the UN has outlived it’s usefulness. The despots and dictators from around the world charging one little country that is bs

    • Obewon March 29th, 2015 at 1:48 pm

USA is the founding member and host country of the United Nations. UN dues are based upon USA’s record &17.5 T GDP which is 25% of global $70 T GDP.

Crazy warmonger JT said if he was Secretary of Defense ‘USA should nuke the entire middle east turning it into glass’-Tarter hates world peace, voting twice for GWB / Halliburton Cheney’s $6 T+ faux oil wars leaving record low everything since (R) Hoover’s Great Depression.

waaaa, poor israel and their killer mentality

  6. arc99 March 29th, 2015 at 2:20 pm

Whatever one thinks of Israel in general or Netanyahu in particular, to characterize Israel as the worst violator of human rights in the world is beyond ridiculous. Gay people serve openly in the military. Mandatory universal health insurance is a non-controversial non-issue in Israel. Israelis recognized years ago that health care is a right.

It is insane to characterize states like Saudi Arabia and Iran as lesser violators of human rights than Israel.

    • tracey marie March 29th, 2015 at 3:32 pm

Nonsense, Israel denies the rights of Palistinians to land, food, water and life.

      • arc99 March 29th, 2015 at 4:07 pm

Please cite the Israeli law which dictates that Palestinians may not have food, water or life.

Meanwhile, in a country that should have the #1 designation

Iran: In accordance with sharia law, homosexual intercourse between men can be punished by death, and men can be flogged for lesser acts such as kissing. Women may be flogged.

        • tracey marie March 29th, 2015 at 4:17 pm

Blockades and closed borders have made all that happen, it was done on purpose. Now Israel keeps tax money, they kill farmers on their own land, they kill kids on the beach…let’s not pretend that Israel is not trying to wipe out the Palistiniens and the Iranians

  7. Robyn Ryan March 29th, 2015 at 7:36 pm

About time the UN called them out.

How many people has Israel publicly beheaded this year? And I’m not talking about ISIS; I’m talking about Saudi Arabia. How many women can vote and hold office in other Middle Eastern countries? How many have freedom of religion and the press? How many are actual DEMOCRACIES? What a load of highly predictable crap. Phffft.

I am disappointed in the cartoon. While it does illustrate that no one is allowed to criticize Israel upon pain of having not-nice things said by Jews, I mean Israelis — a sad reality demonstrated yet again by the UN Human Rights Council passing this totally non-insane resolution — the cartoon isn’t nearly forceful enough.

Where is the Jewish ugliness, to highlight the noble, Classic features of the innocent Gentile, whose well-proportioned mouth has been sewn shut with Jewish, I mean Israeli, criticism? Where is the familiar hooked nose, the yarmulke, the repulsive chicken legs, the grasping claw-like hands? Hell, there isn’t even an ungainly Yiddish broad to make this image truly powerful. Come on, Alan, it’s almost Passover; the season of killing peaceful Viking-looking philosophers and adding the blood of Gentile children and cute puppies to matzoh demon-bread. Or have they, Jews, I mean the Israeli Lobby, of course, gotten to you too?
