[su_right_ad]Here’s yet another example of why fraternities should go the way of knickers.

The shocking video was removed from YouTube for violating the site’s codes of conduct shortly after it was originally uploaded. The young man, who is believed to be a student at Florida State University, is being sought after by PETA. The animal rights organization is reportedly talking with FSU officials to try and track the student down, and intend to press charges.

“It is horrific. We don’t know who this man is but we are working to track him down and prosecute,” PETA representative Stephanie Bell said. “Animal abuse is a community concern. People who abuse animals rarely do so only once and almost never stop there. The link between cruelty to animals and inter-personal violence is undeniable….”

This isn’t so much a story about frat boys as it is about the stupid things people do when drunk. This could just as easily been some idiot in a bar with no connection to a fraternity.

Frats specialize and promote it. It’s kinda their thing.

Approximately 76% of our congressmen are frat boys. It explains a lot, doesn’t it.

I just cannot wrap my head around this stuff. Why in God’s name would an organization supposed to be about fraternal support and future networking to get ahead, require demonstrations of inhumanity to one another or worse to innocent animals. This stuff needs to be relegated back to the dark ages where it belongs. Sad to think that many of our nation’s leaders in government and industry did this stuff once upon a time.

Fraternities, who needs them, time to phase them out.
