[su_right_ad]Indiana Governor Mike Pence was asked by a conservative talk show host if he could cite an example of when someone in his state had his or her religious liberty violated. He couldn’t.

Pence (R) was pressed by conservative radio host if something happened in Indiana to justify signing an anti-gay religious freedom bill into law. Pence said he wasn’t aware of any recent examples.
“I’m not aware of cases and controversies. I mean as I travel around the state one thing I know for sure —Hoosier hospitality is the greatest in the nation. Hoosiers are loving, caring, generous to a fault,” Pence said in an interview with conservative radio host Greg Garrison on Thursday. “People that have strong hearts, strong values. But this isn’t about any present controversy as much as some in the media want to make it about. It’s about making sure that Hoosiers have the same
in our state courts as they have in federal courts and as 30 other states have.”

Pence, in that same interview, said the law was modeled after legislation passed by Congress in 1993 and that the idea was simply to make sure Indianans had the same protections as elsewhere in the country.

This one hasn’t had a sensible response yet to any question that has been posed about his “save the religions” bill yet. If it was really a necessity, would it be that hard to get the rest of the country to comply? We see how perverted this bill is and that is why you are being slapped in your mouth repetedly Mr. Pence.

Typical republican problem solving…make up a problem and solve it in a way that appeals to your right wing nut job constituents and donors. The great ultra-right majority of Christianistan afraid of homosexual cooties yet again. You passed the law…now stand up for it. Put clearly spelled out large signs at every entrance to your establishment that state who you will not serve. Put it on every add. It will make it patently clear that my hard earned money will never be spent there. Those who welcome all customers can do the same with a sign…”We appreciate your business and happily serve everyone.” I’ll go into that business and give it a try.
