[su_right_ad]Would-be presidential candidate Carly Fiorna says our economy is in the dumper because American workers are “watching porn all day.” Andrew at Liberal America opines:

Fiorina, during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” said she could impove the American economy by cutting the pay of federal employees and asserted that they are “watching porn all day.” She then spouted out this nonsensical dross:

“How many Inspector General reports do we need to read that say, you know, you can watch porn all day long and get paid exactly the same way as somebody who’s trying to do their job?”

Indulge me for a moment as I retort to Ms. Fiorina’s ridiculous assertions: First of all, if she was the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, which manufactures computers and peripherals, then isn’t she partially to blame for giving us the technology required to view porn all day at our workplaces?

Secondly, who in the world is Fiorina to accuse others of not doing their jobs? As I recall, she was once rated to be one of the “worst CEOs of all time.” She was adept at tripling her own salary while at HP, but she also laid off some 30,000 workers at the computer company. HP stock lost 50 percent of its value under her tenure as CEO. Hell of a job, Carly!

And Carly made $21M for cleaning out her desk.

You can not watch porn all day while running a cylindrical roll grinder holding a .0005 inch tolerance and roundness of .00004 inches. You can only watch porn while on break on your cell phone.

    • Hirightnow March 31st, 2015 at 9:55 am

Ooh! “cylindrical roll grinder”…I love it when you talk dirty!

      • rg9rts March 31st, 2015 at 10:53 am

Wait …just wait till he gets to the doughnuts

      Steel mill?

      • wpadon April 1st, 2015 at 12:51 am

I work in a roll mill where they alloy, cast, turn, grind, and mill the rolls

Carly has such a high regard for our public sector working class civil servants. I wonder what denigrating thoughts permeate her mind regarding private sector wage earners.

I can’t imagine why HP decided to kick her ass to the curb …

  4. Hirightnow March 31st, 2015 at 9:54 am

My HP laptop has a problem showing videos.
    Hmmm….now I wonder if it’s intentional

  5. Carla Akins March 31st, 2015 at 9:57 am

Seriously? Where are all these people watching watching porn at work?

    • anothertoothpick March 31st, 2015 at 10:11 am

At HP, Fiorina developed the reputation of a manager who knocked heads together—or who chopped them off. And there were massive layoffs during her tenure. In 2003, the company announced it would dismiss almost 18,000 people.

Maybe those 18,000 where busy watching porn in the process got her fired.

Like all righties She has to be the victim somehow.

  6. anothertoothpick March 31st, 2015 at 10:06 am

When the outsourcing of jobs turned into a national political issue, Fiorina became the poster-girl for an industry campaign aimed at blocking any legislation that would restrict a company’s ability to can American employees in favor of workers overseas.

Every place I have worked, including my current job, restricts access to a range of domains and web sites. Porn sites would be at the top of the list. Also shopping, gambling, political, blogs, and others. Any employer that allows this kind of thing deserves what they get. Not that I know from personal experience.

    • rg9rts March 31st, 2015 at 10:52 am

      Right……

      • Larry Schmitt March 31st, 2015 at 11:19 am

Was that in reply to the last part?

        • rg9rts March 31st, 2015 at 12:07 pm

          Yup

They all have sex on the brain constantly. It seems like the republican party is a buch of horny 15 year old boys.

  9. rg9rts March 31st, 2015 at 10:51 am

  10. jybarz March 31st, 2015 at 11:31 am

  11. allison1050 March 31st, 2015 at 11:38 am

So THAT’S what the cow was doing as HP went down the drain…

  12. mrbigstuff March 31st, 2015 at 1:18 pm

I would watch porn at work but I’m afraid she might be in it

  13. Bunya March 31st, 2015 at 1:54 pm

Hmmm. How would she know – unless she was on one of those porno chat lines and recognized somebody’s name.
Boy, you can’t trust anybody nowadays. She promised that she wouldn’t tell anyone.

  14. bpollen March 31st, 2015 at 4:41 pm

You mean I coulda been watching porn INSTEAD of all the goddam work I do? That should be in the friggin’ employee handbook!

  15. arc99 March 31st, 2015 at 6:01 pm

One of the 20 worst CEO’s of all time

    Failed Senatorial candidate

    Now wants to be President.

For ordinary Joes and Janes like us, that translates into.

    – Fired from job due to incompetence
    – Applied for another job and was not hired.
    – Please hire me.

    What?

  16. veggiedude March 31st, 2015 at 6:19 pm

If she is attacking workers for the bad economy, who does she expect to vote for her? The corporations??

    • Roctuna April 2nd, 2015 at 11:01 am

If the gop/conservatives have their way, corporate-person voting (without mandatory ID) is just around the corner.

  17. Jake March 31st, 2015 at 7:09 pm

My company won’t even allow me to watch YouTube – never mind porn….. not that I’ve tried you understand.

  18. fancypants March 31st, 2015 at 9:45 pm

its better to watch porn then it is to practice porn on society

***Carly just doesn’t know what’s like to punch a time clock

  19. Chinese Democracy March 31st, 2015 at 10:24 pm

    is this her winning strategy?

  20. frambley1 April 1st, 2015 at 2:13 am

I don’t have the numbers in front of me, if only there was a device I could use to look them up, but the productivity of the american worker is at an all time high.

It is these out of touch conservatives that don’t do any actual work anymore that have no idea what it is like for the rest of us. They don’t realize that when they make horrid business decisions, like buying Toshiba, there are consequences. Those consequences being that when they subsequently layoff 30,000 people, the remaining employees have to absorb all the work that is no longer being done by them.

  21. Warman1138 April 1st, 2015 at 7:27 am

She is so far above and removed from the average worker that her view is skewed. And she wants to run the country?

  22. anothertoothpick April 1st, 2015 at 10:44 am

Maybe she should have restrained herself a little and said “47% of Americans are watching porn all day”.

  23. William April 1st, 2015 at 12:06 pm

Which still makes the American worker far more productive than Congress

  24. StoneyCurtisll April 2nd, 2015 at 11:19 am

    Watching politicians is political pornography…

  25. StoneyCurtisll April 2nd, 2015 at 11:25 am

I just went to Pornhub.com and did a search for Carly Fiorna….
    Nothing popped up…
    Maybe she is wishful thinking.

This woman is a lunatic if she thinks the working men and women of this nation are “watching porn” all day..

  26. Foundryman April 2nd, 2015 at 11:57 am

dammit. I hate it when I get caught, I never knew she was watching.

  27. Suzanne McFly April 2nd, 2015 at 1:54 pm

This is the kind of right wing fool that thinks us lower life forms should be working 23 hours a day and because we are not, she feels justified in claiming the economy is in the tank cause we are watching porn. There is a big gas bubble floating around with all these nuts in it and they only hear themselves talking. They don’t even realize how the world exists without them.

  28. Jake April 2nd, 2015 at 7:09 pm

If corporations are people and corporations work – then corporations spend all day sitting around watching porn. Hmmmm the genius of Republican thought never fails to escape me.

  29. liberalMD April 5th, 2015 at 4:01 am

Any wonder why she’s no longer the CEO of Hewlett-Packard? Any wonder why Barbara Boxer left her in the dust in the 2010 senatorial race in California?
