I thought all teachers were left-wing lunatics indoctrinating our kids with Marxism. Maybe not.

Some parents claim that a teacher at Dublin Middle School in Georgia told students that if their parents voted for President Obama then they couldn’t be Christians.

Dublin City Schools Superintendent Dr. Chuck Ledbetter said that the teacher voiced a “political opinion” three weeks ago (video below).

However, the teacher, identified as Nancy Perry, told 41NBC that reports of the incident are “untrue” and called it an “unfortunate issue.”

[Perry] brought her husband, who sits on the local school board, to a meeting with parents, which Ledbetter seemed to regret.

“A board member being in a parent-teacher conference can tip the balance, or at least from the appearance, tip the balance of fairness,” Ledbetter stated. “It is not a practice that we can allow.”

Ledbetter said that Perry had a meeting with school officials, was told that her comments were not appropriate and disciplined.

Bet that Obama is a better Christian than the teacher.

I’d bet good money that there will be a follow-up to this story when she retaliates in a good christian fashion against the students that spoke up.

oops, I forgot that the air brush hadn’t been perfected back in yore. We had a documentary on tv last night seeking for a real likeness of jesus rather than the San Francisco 60’s image. It was sad and pathetic and also hysterical. Even the occasional religious researcher can lose it.

The teacher should be required to apologize and ask for forgiveness … in front of the entire class … to each and every student that took exception to her religiously self-righteous and politically bellicose comments.

And her husband needs to be told by the district and the rest of the school board — in writing — to stay completely out of the matter due to the obvious conflict of interest.

I’m a devout Christian and these stories drive me crazy.

With perhaps the exception of Jimmy Carter, Obama may be the most sincere Christian president in recent history.

This is exactly why the right wing keeps calling him a Muslim. It’s right out of the Karl Rove playbook to attack your opponent at their very strength.

But not, apparently, made to apologize to the class.

It’s too late. The damage to the students has been done. Nice going right-wing nut job Nancy Perry. Any relation to Texas flake Rick Perry by any chance?

Another day, another example of the self-righteous closed-minded using their religion to minimize others… WWJH? (Who Would Jesus Hate?)
