Unlike Marco Rubio, who says he’s against gay marriage but would support loved ones at important events, Rick Santorum won’t set foot in a gay wedding.

After the pair decried the media’s focus on the same-sex marriage fight — calling it something of a distraction from the Islamic State’s brutality abroad — conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt asked the former senator the same question Fusion’s Jorge Ramos asked newly-announced candidate Marco Rubio on Wednesday: Would you attend the same-sex wedding of a loved one or anyone you are close to?

“I would not,” Santorum said, shocking no one. “As a person of my faith, that would be something that would be a violation of my faith. I would love them and support them, uh, but I would not participate in that ceremony.”

Somehow, I doubt that will be a problem.

Relax Frothy, you would never be invited to one.

One more threat that will never have to be carried out. I can play that game too. I will never attend an audience with Queen Elizabeth. Carries exactly as much meaning.

Maybe not, but you’d sure be in attendance during the honeymoon night….

Rick, nobody gives a crap what you would do. Go crawl back into the shithole you came from.

Somehow I don’t think Rick Santorum makes the “#1 must invite” list at gay weddings.
I certainly hope same sex couples aren’t TOO disappointed if Rick ever has the chance to decline.

This guy has got to be some kind of weird sex nut…he is way too fixated on the gay thing for it to be healthy

No worries – even if there is no Santorum at the wedding there will be plenty at the Honeymoon – ( that is unless its a lesbian wedding…..although…..).

This is a test that most people fail. Yahweh was glorified in Rick Santorum’s answer.

Who in gods name would invite you?
