Palin was known for three things Beauty Pageants, Basketball and having a communications journalism degree. Couric didn’t throw her a fastball, she pitched a beach ball. Maybe she did get a mail order degree. I’m only joking, she went to 5 colleges in 6 years.

Wiki says she got a bachelors in communications from U of Idaho, after going to five different colleges. She got a “Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award” (it should be distinguished alumna, since alumni is plural, but that’s just the grammarian in me talking) from North Idaho College (community college). She must be so proud. I wonder who else has received the award.

the basis of my statement is palin’s own book, the part about her college days. there’s no picture of her at a graduation. in her book, there IS a picture that is supposedly of her, wearing a cap and gown, holding a diploma case and throwing a cap into the air, in a parking lot. don’t be fooled. these pictures are actually of her sister, molly, who did graduate, and looks enough like palin to fool most people.

Assuming the stuff on Wiki is correct, if she only went to Idaho the second time for 16 months, long enough to get her degree, it wouldn’t surprise me that she didn’t attend the graduation. It also wouldn’t surprise me to find out she didn’t get a degree at all. The only sources to her college info are various internet articles, nothing from any of the schools she supposedly attended.

Correct. The woman photographed / represented as Palin is blonde, and the main color in her mortarboard tassel is gold / yellow.
The University of Idaho’s Medical Technology tassels are designated as MAIZE – as in, DEEP YELLOW:

Been there…it’s frightening.
Recently, I was in line at a restaurant when one of Sarah’s fans tried striking up a conversation with us. She rattled on for a few minutes about how great she is and we listened politely until she popped the big question…”Who are you voting for…” she asked us and continued adding “…I hope your not an Obama voter…”
I confessed I didn’t think I’d be voting for Obama this time around and added I’d be open to a woman…her eyes lit up as she told me to “…hang in there, we’ll get Sarah to the WH someday.”
I didn’t want to tell her the woman I was considering voting for was Warren or that the thought of Sarah getting east of the Mississippi scared the crap out of me. I looked at her and her 80 year old husband in a scooter and wondered if she knew she was nothing more than a useful idiot to the repugs and what she really represented was one of the 47% they despised.
