    Had it been a young black man or woman resisting arrest, they would have been tased, kicked, and beaten within 30 seconds of the physical altercation with the police.

    Regarding her act of “patriotism”, it brings to mind the famous climatic speech delivered by Michael Douglas in “The American President”:

    “America isn’t easy. America is advanced citizenship. You gotta want it bad, ’cause it’s gonna put up a fight.
    It’s gonna say “You want free speech? Let’s see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who’s standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.
    You want to claim this land as the land of the free? Then the symbol of your country can’t just be a flag; the symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest.
    Show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Then, you can stand up and sing about the “land of the free”. “

          i don’t care what the cost. and sometimes when someone steals ones property, even though its returned they are still charged with a crime. but, they didn’t charge her with anything. who gives a rats ass about a warning.

    Talk about white privilege….that was about the least violent take down I’ve ever seen in my life.
    Last week 2 county sheriffs arrested a student on campus (black male about 20) for failure to pay child support…he received 20 stitches for a head wound and suffered a broken collar bone.

      I’ve seen more violent take downs of pregnant Mexican and Black women. One was even kicked in her stomach, which caused problems with the baby. The police officer was exonerated because he claimed he couldn’t tell the lady was pregnant, although she was about 8 months gone. No worries. He got off, as usual.

      PS: ‘arrested’ is when you have been charged with a crime -not when you’re taken for a free ride to be turned loose. (note the ‘charges’ in her ‘criminal record’, like the protesters in Ferguson? – or all the WHITE TERRORIST in Nevada.).
