How do we know the last remaining anti-LGBT crusaders have completely lost their shpadoinkle? The most recent debate has literally involved refusing to bake cakes for gay weddings. This is where we are in the slow gurgling death rattle of anti-gay bigotry in the United States. Cakes. That said, a proposed ballot measure in California might top it.

It turns out government-run bathrooms are now a battleground.

A group calling itself the “Privacy For All” coalition has begun the process of getting an initiative added to the California ballot that, if passed, would ban transgender citizens from using government bathrooms appropriate to their gender identity. In other words, Privacy For All is worried about genetically male persons who identify as women to use women’s restrooms. Likewise, they don’t want genetically female persons who identify as men to use men’s restrooms.

The Personal Privacy Protection Act, as they’re calling it, reads: “a person shall use facilities in accordance with their biological sex in all government buildings.”

The initiative defines “biological sex” like so:

[T]he biological condition of being male or female as determined at or near the time of birth or through medical examination.

And what happens when… CONTINUE READING

5 responses to California Ballot Measure Would Criminalize Transgender Citizens For Using Appropriate Toilet

If taxpayer funded sports venues are considered government buildings, an awful lot of people who are undeniably biologically female are going to end up in the slammer.

Given the long, long lines at women’s restrooms at places like the Oakland Coliseum and other similar facilities, women often sneak into the much less crowded men’s room to do their business.

I frankly doubt this measure is going to even make it to the ballot. If anyone approaches me to sign the petition, I will simply point out that if they don’t want to see the other person’s junk, then don’t look at it. Problem solved without a long, expensive, divisive political campaign.

A group calling itself the “Privacy For All” coalition has begun the process of getting an initiative added to the California ballot that, if passed, would ban transgender citizens from using government bathrooms appropriate to their gender identity.
What this would basically do is to create a subculture of toilet police — money-grubbing bathroom patrols who would scout out restrooms waiting for transgender victims to wander in.
You, too, could win a judgment of not less than $4,000.

    OPERATION MONEY GRUBBER

I want to belong to a group that will call itself the “Quadskis for All”. Very simple concept. Develop an app for Android and IOS called “Quadski for All”. It will connect transgender persons with someone who desires a Quadski. They will meet up and be outraged and earn a minimum of 4 grand. They split any and all proceeds 50/50, right down the middle. Once you earn enough to purchase a Quadski, you are ineligible to win any more California money. Repeat with new contestants until law is removed or till we all have Quadskis.

How much do you wanna bet these “scouts” are just pervs who are projecting on a segment of society?

I had no idea it was a problem. There are bathrooms where both genders can use, and I don’t hear protests about that. I am not concerned who is in the next stall and I am pretty sure they aren’t standing on the toilet to see my girly parts, no matter what gender they were born with. I think some people have too much time on their hands so they create drama the rest of us have to deal with, I hope we use common sense while dealing with this self created “problem”.
