George W. Bush has finally attacked his successor.

In a closed-door meeting with Jewish Donors Saturday night, former President George W. Bush delivered his harshest public criticisms to date against his successor on foreign policy, saying that President Barack Obama is being naïve about Iran and the pending nuclear deal and losing the war against the Islamic State.

One attendee at the Republican Jewish Coalition session, held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas with owner Sheldon Adelson in attendance, transcribed large portions of Bush’s remarks. The former president, who rarely ever criticizes Obama in public, at first remarked that the idea of re-entering the political arena was something he didn’t want to do. He then proceeded to explain why Obama, in his view, was placing the U.S. in “retreat” around the world. He also said Obama was misreading Iran’s intentions while relaxing sanctions on Tehran too easily.

When is this beast gonna either put on some combat boots or answer for his criminal actions?

    • John Tarter April 27th, 2015 at 11:04 am

About the same time all the Democrats who voted for the war are hauled into the dock of Justice.

      • arc99 April 27th, 2015 at 11:28 am

Fascinating how you right winters have been bleating for 6 years that a President is responsible for everything that happens on his watch.

But when it comes to Iraq, the talking point rapidly changes to but Democrats voted for it too..

No matter. The lesson learned here is that listening to conservatives was a colossal mistake as is usually the case. The party and the nation would have been much better off, by heeding the advice of the most LIBERAL members of Congress because conservatives were wrong.

        Again….

Hopefully California will elect another US Senator with the foresight demonstrated by our retiring junior Senator.

        http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2015/01/08/sen-barbara-boxer-to-retire

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer of California, one of the chamber’s most tenacious liberals, announced Thursday she will not seek re-election in 2016 to a fifth term.

A staunch supporter of abortion rights, gun control and environmental protections,

——Boxer has said she is most proud of the vote that she cast against the war in Iraq.——

      • arc99 April 27th, 2015 at 11:45 am

Right after we haul in the 96% of Congressional Republicans across both Houses who voted for the war, then we can go after the 42% of Congressional Democrats.

      • Suzanne McFly April 27th, 2015 at 12:17 pm

They voted on this “war” when w presented them a bunch of lies about tubes of uranium. I agree, they stupidly believed the guy in charge and thought he knew what he was talking about. They went ahead and cast a vote that will now forever haunt them, but w is the criminal, not the ones he lied to.

      • StoneyCurtisll April 27th, 2015 at 9:22 pm

        Reality Check…
There was no congressional “vote for war”…
No matter how many times you repeat that lie..
        It is still a lie.

    Oh STFU.

  3. mea_mark April 27th, 2015 at 9:35 am

GWB is opens his mouth to fund raise and out comes dumb partisan rhetoric. We really shouldn’t expect anything less.

W Bush started this mess and when he left office everything was F/up.But i do think we just need to bomb iran and eliminate them off the planet and not sign any deals .Iran is funding terrorism all around world. They are a enemies. .

      You forgot the Saudis.

  5. Roger Xavier Jackson April 27th, 2015 at 10:04 am

He wants jeb bush in office to finish sinking country. Prince of Sadi Arabia was his advisor

  6. John Tarter April 27th, 2015 at 11:03 am

It’s about time for a little payback. Obama trashed Mr. Bush consistently ever since he became the President.

    • tracey marie April 27th, 2015 at 12:58 pm

bush attacked and killed our economy and then he attacked and killed the M.E.

No, Tater Tot, he didn’t trash Bush, Bush trashed Bush. For you RWNJs telling the truth about Bush’s long list of screw ups is “trashing”.

  7. Bunya April 27th, 2015 at 1:38 pm

George W. Bush, a guy who ordered an attacked on a country that had nothing to do with 911 because “Jesus told him to”, is in no position whatsoever to critique the sitting president on anything.

    • arc99 April 27th, 2015 at 1:42 pm

      9/11/2001 3,000 dead

      9/11/2012 4 dead

By any objective measure, when evaluating the competence of the President of the United States, the above numbers clearly demonstrate that President Bush really has no grounds to criticize anyone.

      • Red Mann April 27th, 2015 at 5:43 pm

Not to mention the 11 attacks and 64 dead in embassy/consulate attacks on Bush’s watch that didn’t even raise a RW eyebrow.

  8. William April 27th, 2015 at 2:25 pm

Dubya wants to criticize a President on foreign policy issues?
That is bizarre on so many levels.

  9. fancypants April 27th, 2015 at 6:54 pm

He then proceeded to explain why Obama, in his view, was placing the U.S. in “retreat” around the world.

if memory serves, l’il w was the creator of the war with the Islamists. All the dead and maimed are his – only his. the rest is clean up and it will take a long time and much more suffering. Interesting that the creep is coming out of his hole.

Joe Biden was claiming back in 2010 that Iraq would be one of Obama’s greatest achievements.

It is a little late for Obama fanboyz and fangirlz on this one.

    • OldLefty April 28th, 2015 at 6:50 am

Not as late as BushCheney’s fanboyz and fangirlz.

      • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 7:05 am

Sorry. No affirmative action for Obama on this one.

        • OldLefty April 28th, 2015 at 7:08 am

That’s what they say about EVERY president, especially Bush; White, wealthy dynastic affirmative action.

Funny, how both Clinton and Obama are EXACTLY the ‘pull yourself by your own bootstraps” success stories that the right claims to love.
That is why they hate them so much.

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 7:19 am

I’m sorry. I have no interest in the little straw men you trot out.

          • OldLefty April 28th, 2015 at 7:27 am

Explain why it is a straw man.

          • jasperjava April 28th, 2015 at 7:28 am

Thats cute. Doesn’t know what a “straw man” is, uses it as a red herring.

Doesn’t know anything about debate or logical argument, just trots out words like “straw man” that he doesn’t understand and thinks that he wins.

Again, it’s encouraging to see the kinds if mental midgets who defend the other side.

You’re big with the racist dog whistles, I see.

It’s encouraging to me to see the kind of bottom-feeding scum who will defend the Bushist war criminals. It just shows how history will judge them.

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 8:17 pm

Obama admitted to being a beneficiary of affirmative action. Why can’t his fanboys?

          • Obewon April 28th, 2015 at 8:34 pm

Rhodes scholar Clinton’42 and National Security adivser, fmr USA UN Ambassador and Rhodes scholar Susan Rice are each a “beneficiary of affirmative action” because of their 165+ IQ’s!

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 8:48 pm

So why can’t see his transcripts?

            So what?

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 10:06 pm

We know more about Martin Van Buren than we do Obama.

          • OldLefty April 29th, 2015 at 6:13 am

That may be true in the Bizarro Universe of the Right Wing Echo Chamber, where you are dedicated faith in Fictional Obama, but not in the Reality Based Community, where as much is known about Actual Obama as is known about any other president.

That is why David Frum said, “Republicans have been Fleeced, Exploited And Lied To’ by a Conservative Entertainment Complex”

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 29th, 2015 at 6:30 am

Quotes Dumbya’s Canuck pal David Frum, who coined the term “axis of evil.”

          • OldLefty April 29th, 2015 at 6:54 am

            We know that.

What does that have to do with his point??

            There is also ; And even William Kristol said, on Conservativism becoming a racket;
“Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and
            eventually degenerates into a racket.”

The whole conservative movement has become about hiring family members for PACs and selling email lists.

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 30th, 2015 at 6:41 am

Obama never published a single thing while president of the HLR.
He was a shiny token to show off to the alums…

          • Obewon April 30th, 2015 at 8:51 am

The prestigious Harvard Law Review Editor and Chief Obama “edited” and published each issue.

“What most of his classmates remember best about Barack’s time in law school was his election to the most prestigious student leadership position on campus — the presidency of the Harvard Law Review. The law review was sharply divided ideologically then, with political conflicts spilling over into personal ones. Like all of us, Barack had his own political views and made them known, but unlike most he usually did it in a way that put people of different viewpoints into a common conversation, and pushed them to get things done regardless of their differences.

“-HLR fellow P.h.D. Professor Mack also class of 1991. http://today.law.harvard.edu/an-op-ed-by-professor-kenneth-mack-even-at-harvard-obama-had-a-knack-for-bonding/

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 30th, 2015 at 10:19 am

But Obama published nothing original, nothing of his own…

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 8:39 pm

Where have I defended what the “Bushist war criminals” did?

I did not reside in the US between 2001 – 2008 and was therefore not paying taxes which funded the war effort. Can you say the same?

HRC and John Kerry voted for the war. Obama rewards them with the Sec of State position.

Your immense frustration and anger is misdirected. It is amusing to a point – seeing neologisms like “Bushist” – but ultimately it comes across as deep disillusionment. Faith in your Chicago Jeebus fading?

        • Scopedog April 28th, 2015 at 5:53 pm

Jesus…you really want to call him the N-word, don’t you?

And the facts stand–President Bush and the GOP put the country over the fence and gave it the business between 2001 and 2009. The Black Guy you dislike so much has been repairing the damage.

          • xpatYankeeCurmudgeon April 28th, 2015 at 8:26 pm

Obama admitted to benefiting from affirmative action. I admire that. If only his silly fanboys could do the same…

  12. William April 28th, 2015 at 7:56 am

Well who knows. Maybe Jeb will get the GOP nod. He’s nothing like his brother, and will probably invade a completely different wrong country.

  13. Mainah April 28th, 2015 at 9:19 am

Said the man who crashed the economy, let Bin Laden get away when he invaded a country that supposedly had nukes and ran up the deficit with two wars, which helped to destabilize the entire region.

    • Tim Coolio April 28th, 2015 at 9:46 am

He will be the face of the GOP for 20+ years and the topic of conversation.

      • Mainah April 28th, 2015 at 12:02 pm

Just like Saint (cough, cough) Ronnie. I love his son’s atheist commercial. LOL

      • CityZen April 29th, 2015 at 1:07 pm

He will always be the ASS of GOP. A rememberance for our nation much like “Remember the Alamo” was for Texas.
        And well deserved.

  14. Tim Coolio April 28th, 2015 at 9:47 am

GOP = when public schools all close their doors
forever, and all roads revert to gravel or dirt,
and all non-billionaires starve to death, then the
republicans will pat themselves on the back and say-
    now we’re getting somewhere!
