Brooke Baldwin apologized for saying veterans return “ready to do battle.”

“A lot of these young people, and I love our nation’s veterans, but some of them are coming back from war, they don’t know the communities, and they’re ready to do battle,” she told Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.)…

On Twitter Baldwin said she was ‘wrong’ for saying what she did. She also apologized live on-air Wednesday.

The accusatory words soon launched public calls online for her firing.
