The officers were identified last month as Lt. Brian Rice, Officer Garrett Miller, Sgt. Alicia White, Officer William Porter, Officer Edward Nero, and Officer Caesar Goodson.

I’m very disappointed that you find it necessary to rush to judgment against all six officers. You are not fit to serve on any trial jury.

You wouldn’t make it past the jury selection process if you answered the questions honestly. Nobody wants a prejudiced juror (i.e. one who has already pre-judged the case). Your statement about the six cops reveals your prejudice. If you somehow made it past the jury selection process for this trial, and your above comment about the six cops was later discovered, it would be grounds for declaring a mistrial. That is what makes you unfit to serve as a juror.

With the release of the pictures of the six officers charged, I hope we can get away from the argument of black vs. white and address the real issue here: the brutality occurring with increasing incidence by policemen in our country and the militarization of our police departments. While I realize most of the high-profile cases have been black victims, neglecting to address the entire problem will do little to solve it.
