One Garland Shooting Suspect Identified

Elton Simpson has been identified as one of the gunman in Sunday’s Garland, Texas shooting.
Officials believe Simpson is the person who sent out several Twitter messages prior to the attack on Sunday, in the last one using the hashtag #TexasAttack about half an hour before the shooting…
Simpson was well known to the FBI. Five years ago he was convicted for lying to federal agents about his plans to travel to Africa, but a judge ruled the government did not adequately prove he was going to join a terror group there.
As for the second suspect, the FBI is combing through files on all of Simpson’s known associates in Phoenix and elsewhere, but so far there has been no word on the accomplice’s identity.

He played right into their hands. If people want to combat the racism they face, playing the stereotype role is not an effective stategy.

While I agree with the overall message of not playing into stereotype, it’s not racism. It’s religious bigotry. Muslims come in all races and ethnicities, including Caucasian.

Great job by Garland, Texas Law Enforcement in stopping these 2 terrorist in their tracks.
The Police Officer that confronted these predators and stopped them from carrying out their murderous plan is a true American Hero.

In NYC, 25 year old, NYPD Police Officer Brian Moore, was murdered by an ex con.
Officer Moore was on duty, trying to save lives, by getting predators, like this thug off the street.
Officer Moore’s death is a terrible, heartbreaking tragedy, tremendous loss.
Police Officers are the only barricade between the predators and their victims.
