Accuracy in Media’s Cliff Kincaid says Pope Francis will will usher in “anti-Christian tyranny.”

“Conservative Catholics and many others are terrified of what is to come,” Kincaid wrote. “Some fear that the Roman Catholic Church has joined the campaign for a global socialist state that could turn into an anti-Christian tyranny.”

He also spoke to climate change denier Timothy Ball, who alleged that Pope Benedict XVI was forced out of his position because he was “starting to deal with the problems of pedophilia and corruption in the money in the church,” providing an opening for Francis to start “bringing in these socialist ideas” that “you’ve heard from Obama.”

How dare the Pope not act like a Christian in name only.

  2. OldLefty May 13th, 2015 at 2:07 pm

maybe the should find another church.

  3. arc99 May 13th, 2015 at 2:20 pm

Perhaps he is a secret Muslim.

I suspect we will soon be hearing demands for the Pontiff’s birth certificate.

    • jasperjava May 14th, 2015 at 11:58 am

Or at least his baptism certificate.

  4. William May 13th, 2015 at 2:27 pm

OMG, it’s true. I was able to find these grisly photos of millions of Catholics absolutely terrified by this Pope.

Warning. Not for the faint of heart.

    • Roctuna May 13th, 2015 at 3:07 pm

Thanks for the warning. That was truly brutal viewing. The hate just pervades every Pope Francis t-shirt and poster.

      • William May 14th, 2015 at 9:41 am

I hope you don’t suffer any PTSD.

    • Suzanne McFly May 13th, 2015 at 3:25 pm

I hope this Pope realizes how much he has done for the world already. He has been needed for generations and so many of us love him, even types like me that wrote off the church a loooong time ago.

      • William May 14th, 2015 at 9:40 am

I to am a recovering Catholic. There may be hope for the church yet.

        • Suzanne McFly May 14th, 2015 at 5:28 pm

I hope so, I miss being a part of that community.

    • StoneyCurtisll May 13th, 2015 at 3:40 pm

And this pope doesn’t ride in a bullet proof “pope mobile)..

  5. Republicans_are_Evil May 13th, 2015 at 2:34 pm

There are no conservative Christians. Not one.

  6. rg9rts May 13th, 2015 at 2:40 pm

They are not terrified…they flat out hate the man that is trying to make them behave as true catholics should ….They would call out a hit on him if they knew how

  7. Roctuna May 13th, 2015 at 3:11 pm

“Anti-christian tyranny”? Last time I checked, catholics are considered christians. What they mean is they’re afraid he’ll continue to call out the fundamentalism that they ascribe to which is christian in name only but heavy on the conservative politics disguised as religion.

    • jasperjava May 14th, 2015 at 11:56 am

Everyone knows that Jesus was a white capitalist English-speaking Murrikkkin Anti-gay bigot.

  8. Suzanne McFly May 13th, 2015 at 3:22 pm

Anti-Christian Pope?!?!?! WTF? Is it opposite day today? Are republicans sensible today? I seriously doubt it.

  9. bpollen May 13th, 2015 at 3:27 pm

Well, perhaps your “Conservative Catholics” should go to Avignon and start up their own Papacy~! Worked so well the last time.

    • Jake May 14th, 2015 at 7:25 am

      Nowadays they go to Iowa.

Imagine how they felt about Pope Joan, the first possibly trans gendered Pope..
    Pope Joan is a Medieval
religious leader believed by some to have been a female pontiff who
reigned over the Roman Catholic Church, who dismisses her as myth. She
allegedly assumed the name John Anglicus, disguising herself as a man and eventually becoming pope.
    Oh thats right…
She was dismissed as a hoax. (by the catholic church)..

      Hoy hoy
      When Big Joan comes out
      Her arms are too small
      Her head like uh ball
      She tied off her horse
‘n galloped off into the moonbeams
      She pulled up her blouse
‘n compared her navel to the moon
I dig my life for uh while
      When Big Joan sets up
      Her hands are too small
She’s too fat t’ go out in the daylight
So she rolls around all night
      I’m just sorta thread
      With uh drooped body
I’ll set up with yuh Big Joan
I’m too fat t’ go out
      In the daylight
      I’ll stay up all night
      I won’t droop if you
      Won’t talk about your
      Hands bein’ too small
      You know something’s happenin’
Or you wouldn’t of come out like yuh did
She ain’t built for goin’ naked
So she can’t wear any new clothes
      Or go t’ the beach
      They laugh at her body
Cause her hands are too small
When Big Joan sets up her hands are too small
      She’s outta reach
Uh turquoise scarf ‘n uh sleeve
Rolled up over uh Merc Montclair
I’ll sit up with yuh Big Joan
I’m too fat to go out in the daytime
      I’ll stay up all night
If yuh promise not t’ talk
About yer hands bein’ too small
Hoy hoy is she uh boy?

“…a global socialist state that could turn into an anti-Christian tyranny.” This guy sounds like the catholic Alex Jones. Never met an anti-Christian conspiracy he didn’t like.

  12. allison1050 May 13th, 2015 at 6:07 pm

    Another dumb ass.

  13. David Ish May 13th, 2015 at 6:46 pm

Jesus said give ALL to the poor.

  14. frambley1 May 14th, 2015 at 12:15 am

Aren’t the Pope’s words infallible? Don’t the catholics have to believe everything that the Pope says?

Pooope… the floor is not a hamper.

    • StoneyCurtisll May 14th, 2015 at 12:33 am

The Catholic church has a long and at times bloody history of dissent..
Just ask Martin Luther or any Protestant…:)

      • frambley1 May 14th, 2015 at 1:12 am

Agreed, but isn’t they no longer allowed in that church? Does that mean we may soon have a church of PalinTorum?

    • Jimmy Fleck May 14th, 2015 at 10:41 am

The Catholic Church does not say that all of the Pope’s words are infallible or that you have to believe everything that the Pope says. There are times when the Pope issues official Church beliefs that you do have to believe if you are to remain in the Catholic Church. These are rather rare occurrences.

  15. StoneyCurtisll May 14th, 2015 at 12:37 am

    Cliff Kincade..
Just another practitioner of McCarthyism…(reckless, and unsubstantiated accusations, as well as public attacks on the character or patriotism of anyone he disagrees with)

    ‘Conservative Catholics…’Are Terrified’ By Pope

If they are then good…if they were true Catholics as they claim to be, then they would remember from catechism that they were taught to be their brothers’ keepers…tend to the sick and poor…look out for each other.

Although, anyone with a lick of sense would know this without the dogma attached.

  17. fahvel May 14th, 2015 at 3:37 am

if I remember rightly, the guy who invented the church, jesus that is, was kind of a socialist – ya know: sharing etc. He was a good fella till paul and the scum raped his few simple socialist ideas.

    • William May 14th, 2015 at 11:12 am

Conservative Catholics are mad because the Pope has been radicalized by some long haired do-gooder who promotes dependency.

  18. William May 14th, 2015 at 11:10 am

C’mon “Conservative” Catholics. Tell us what’s REALLY bothering you.
