Jeb Bush had a bad week, and was quite defensive in Iowa about his multiple statements on Iraq.

In case you need a refresher, Bush said on Monday that he would have gone into Iraq, then he said he misheard the question, and for the rest of the week he’s been further and further clarifying his position on the matter.

So when Bush spoke in Iowa City today, he admitted he “answered a question that wasn’t asked,” but also got a little snarky in talking about the overall issue of whether going into Iraq was wise.

“Maybe someone in this room,” he said, “has the power of hindsight. If they do, will you tell me which stock I should buy today?… We don’t have the power of hindsight.”

Is he really that stupid? EVERYBODY has the power of hindsight. Telling him what stock to buy today is not hindsight. Telling him what he should have bought yesterday is hindsight. This man is as mentally deficient as The Failure.

at least he was the governor of the ‘sunshine’ state instead of being a wandering star.

still waiting for someone to match Gohmert from Florida.

      • fredoandme May 17th, 2015 at 12:36 pm

it depends on how far up his own ass his head has gone, looking for hindsight.

Jeb seems to be unaware of the old adage — those who refuse to learn from the mistakes of the past …

    • fredoandme May 17th, 2015 at 12:31 pm

that would require hindsight, which he ain’t got.

  7. fahvel May 17th, 2015 at 11:04 am

hind sight gets you nothing – so, maybe to be president, he might demonstrate that he can forsee accurately like his brother did for cheney’s putain business.

JEB…the message is clear…look at the Iowa straw poles…you are near last…the american people have had enough of the Bush family…

  10. Obewon May 17th, 2015 at 12:32 pm

Jeb’s problems are his own well proven ignorance: On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. http://www.salon.com/2007/09/06/bush_wmd/

And the CIA in 2002 had sent former ambassador Joseph Wilson to Niger to investigate the claims, and he went public in July 2003 criticizing the Bush administration’s case for going to war in Iraq. The subsequent publication of his wife’s identity as a CIA employee spawned an investigation that resulted in the indictment of Cheney’s chief of staff and is still ongoing. -and counting.
think maybe any of their kids will ever feel differently than the children of the RepubliKONs who sent their mothers and fathers into those bottomless cesspools?

Meanwhile, Jihadis are returning to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (top RepubliKons favorite hangout) to Luxurious REHAB centers with art therapy, Jacuzzis, ping pong, water aerobics and gourmet chefs!

WHERE’S THE PROMISED UPGRADING OF OUR US VETERANS MEDICAL FACILITIES LYING US 2014 REPUBLICAN SENATORS?

  11. StoneyCurtisll May 17th, 2015 at 2:17 pm

    What do they call that..
Trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result?..
    Voting for a third Bush?
    (insanity)?

    • granpa.usthai May 17th, 2015 at 2:29 pm

that was one of Albie’s misquotes, but what could be expected from a ‘theoretical physicist’?
about all they’re good for is sitting around with teenie tiny atom splitters in front of blackboards with all kinds of jumbled up mathmetical formulas and stuff.
not like they’d ever do anything to change the world is it?

      • granpa.usthai May 17th, 2015 at 2:57 pm

just a little footnote as to the range of development of the human species.

A typical bush, lying, obsfucating and denying facts.

  13. bpollen May 17th, 2015 at 3:38 pm

“Maybe someone in this room,” he said, “has the power of hindsight. If they do, will you tell me which stock I should buy today?… We don’t have the power of hindsight.”

Ummm…. Jeb? We ALL have the power of hindsight. It’s called “history.” As Santayana said – Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

  14. Dcbos May 17th, 2015 at 4:41 pm

The only hind sight is that he got caught with his pants down; he answered how he felt first time then he experienced the fate of all people who make stupid statements and tried to weasel out of the mess.

  15. majii May 17th, 2015 at 7:09 pm

I hate it when someone insults others’ intelligence. Everyone who has watched the video clip knows that Jeb knew what question Megyn Kelly was asking him. He answered the way he did because he was supporting his brother, something I think many would do in a similar situation. What pisses me off is his thinking that we don’t know that he f*cked up in answering the question, and that he’s now going to get all huffy and tell us several lies and we’re supposed to let the matter go. He was within his right to support his brother’s decision to invade Iraq, but he shouldn’t be trying to play us for fools and pretend that he “misheard” the question.
