The New Jersey governor was responding to a question from Megyn Kelly about why a Quinnipiac poll shows that New Jersey residents don’t favor him for the White House: “They want me to stay.”

      I remember thinking he seemed like he could be good, regardless of being a Republican.
      I thought he was a no-nonsense kind of Jersey boy.

      Then he got into office and it became painfully obvious he was a corrupt, inept Republican standard bearer.
      (I did not vote for him, just to be clear on that point.)
