A mentally impaired boy And the father didn’t do everything he could to keep the gun safe? Now he’s an emotionally scarred mentally impaired boy.

Just give him a few more guns and he and everyone around him will be safe and secure!

At 6:00 a.m. Friday at a home in Kalamazoo. Oh boy! A 20-gauge shotgun and a shell. Boom! Hummel says the boy had been taking gun safety classes. Proving once again why ‘USA’s 31% of gun owner households cause 2/3 of all U.S. homicides by shooting 22 to 43 times more friends and family than any intruder.’-CDC FBI.

Should a mentally impaired boy have gun safety classes?

“Should a mentally impaired boy have gun safety classes?”
      My irony meter just twitched.

Right wingers, you blame the President for Baltimore.

I blame the NRA for this and every other needless death by firearms. More guns in more homes do not make us safer and as long as the NRA keeps propagating the lie that they do, they have blood on their hands.

How can you believe that? If there was a good guy with a few hundred guns, this danger would have been killed before he could have been a bad guy with only one illegal gun

No one in that family is capable of dealing with the young man. A mentally disabled boy who knew enough to lie, get the keys, unlock the safe and load a gun is well enough to understand what he did. Shame on you for allowing this tragedy

It sounds much more likely that the careless grandfather is making up crap to take the blame off of himself. I always do this but I forgot this time. I always do that but I forgot. The boy did this but didn’t mean it. blah, blah, blah. No personal responsibility from the gun owner, though. Typical.

The boy is mentally impaired yet intelligent enough to take gun safety classes??

    • William May 24th, 2015 at 8:58 am

      Excellent point.
It would be like giving Ray Charles driving lessons no?

        Yep it would.

…just thinking the same thing…somebody is NOT telling the truth and this boy mentally impaired or not should be REMOVED from the home period.
