As a United States Marine, he should have known that when he commits what his “enemy” considers to be an act of war, violence is the usual result.
I think anyone who would commit murder over a cartoon is a psychopath. But again as a United States Marine, if he failed to understand that he was provoking murderous psycho paths, it is his responsibility. The Marines I have known have the guts to take responsibility for their actions. This joker wants to blame liberals. Tells me all I need to know about him.
Like it or not, Muslims have a religious belief that depictions of Mohammed are wrong. A tiny fraction of those Muslims will resort to deadly force to avenge that “wrong”. That is the world we live in and when you invite violence in the name of free speech, you get no sympathy from me.
Perhaps an analogy might make things more clear. No matter how fervently a man believes that it is perfectly ok to expose himself to a 5 year old girl, if he shows up in front of the girl’s house and does so, he has no right to complain when the parents come out and kick his a$$.
The bottom line is that no one has the right to define to other people what they do and do not find offensive. I repeat, I do not condone violence in any way. But when you engage in activity specifically to incite violence, as others have said, you reap what you sow.

This pseudo patriot is trying to leverage his little mayhem scheme into personal wealth … I guess you could say that if anyone is brain dead enough to give the con man their money, then he gets to keep it … maybe he will buy a meth lab somewhere and finally have his own business … with the boom of the internet, we get the rise of cyber pirates, using all kinds of melodramatic scams to make money … despicable …

Maybe Reitzheiimer will learn eventually that you don’t ram your hand and arm into the maw of a rabid dog and expect to withdraw it without getting injured. Even a five year old kid knows this. He wanted attention, and he got it, but now he’s whining because it isn’t all good attention. He has no one else to blame but himself. He was the “genius” who got the not-so-brilliant-idea to hold an anti-Muslim rally with bikers and other riffraff from society, and it was his idea to encourage them to bring weapons. Now that others are looking at him, scratching their heads, and asking, “Is this guy nuts?” he’s in shock, in shock, I tells ya! He deserves everything he’s getting. He sought to organize this rally and profit from it, but it’s not working out the way he thought it would. if this “genius” is looking for the source of his troubles, I hope there’s a mirror close by.

You all know it could be Retzheimer’s bizarre actions may be related to PTSD? That’s speculation on my part and I don’t know anything about his military or combat history. I have read he is a vet and served in Iraq.
Of course he’s a grown man and should know better, especially with a family to consider.
War can really mess with your head! Things you can’t remember, but never forget.
He appears to have fallen in with a pretty tough crowd out there in Arizona. Some accounts call him a “biker” inferring membership in a criminal organization not unlike the Waco bikers who recently had a shoot-out that left 9 people dead, at midday, in a public parking lot. It begs the question; Is this the way a post-racial, per-appolyptic America is suppose to look like?
