An Arkansa man died over the weekend in what was deemed to be an ‘accidental’ shooting. In a news release on Monday, Sheriff Lawrence Tate said that 81-year-old Eulib George Bible was killed Saturday, KAIT reports.     A couple of years ago I accidentally drove over a squirrel.
    
    I was doing about ten MPH and I saw him on the curb, facing the other way. Then he darts out and the next thing I know I hear the inevitable “thump thump” under the car.
    I look in the rear view mirror and I see him tumbling and then running off.
    
    I still feel bad about that.

      yeah, we have lots of squrrels around here. i love to see them play chasing each other. i hit one once and i was sick to my stomach. i refused to even look at my tires or the car just got out and went inside sick.

        At the time, there was one of my buddies in the car with me. After it happened I said “why do they do that, why do they wait until the last minuted and then run underneath a rolling car?”
        
        And he said “I guess that is why they call them squirrels”.

      years ago, like every other day, I was driving on the twisty, turny j-town/middletown road. as I approached one obtuse angle i could see the lone oncoming van coming round the bend. to my surprise, clutching the front grill, fur flattened in the wind, was a single squirrel holding on for dear life. hitchin’ a ride. goin’ places. makin’ his move.

  i’m sorry, but if that was my husband, i would never tell anybody that’s what he was about to do before killing himself. i would have come up with a reasonable lie, or face the fact that i might be facing a trial. lol
